GeForce 8800 GTX/GTS

The new GeForce 8800-series cards have started appearing all over the place, almost every manufacturer has their own version (in most cases, only the cooler sticker has been customised).

Take your pick:

And last but not least, SPARKLE Calibre 8800 Series w/ TEC Cooling:

Your rig is pretty good and can hold out for a while.

Well you know how it is but you are right, will actually probably change my mobo for SLi in the new year (staying with Epox because IMO they are awesome) and get myself another 7900GTO to run in SLi and leave it at that for a while until Vista gets to at least SP1 and then go for the Conroe and 8800 as they will be half the price by about April/May.

Ill wait for the revised mid range parts on a smaller process. I doubt the 8800GTX would even fit in my case

Jesus, was thinkin imagine what PSU you would need running a Conroe at say 3.8gig and 2 8800GTX's in SLi as well as everything else.

PS: wazzle did you see I posted another pic of that Babe?

Have patience, the numbers will come, in time... (This is an interim solution whilst I decide on what SLi and Conroe stuff to go for, then a second 8800gtx... Then my bank account becomes overdrawn... It's all good!)

I bet the 800w pc power and cooling is plenty.

I'm going for a thermaltake external PSU for one of the GFX cards, then the rest will be powered off my 650watt SLi certified Coolermaster one.

Ok, just a quick update:

That's with no OC on the gfx and 2gb if cheapo DDR400 at 215mhz, 2.5-3-3-7.

CPU is a big bottleneck!

Just a tip I just built a Asus p5b deluxe with a e6400 got 2 gigs of ocz 800mhz . the board did not like it random shut off all kinds of weird stuff. Asus recommended corsair xm2 6400 so I got it not a problem since. Well take that into consideration.
