PNY Launches Mini M1 USB Flash drive

PNY Technologies ("PNY) considered one of the worldwide leaders in consumer electronics market and memory products, PNY technologies, has given "small" a whole new meaning by introducing its extremely tiny and cap-less designed the new Mini M1 USB Flash Drive. Featuring a low profile design, this is one of the lightest drives available today.

PNY's new Mini M1 USB Flash Drive despite its size, it offers high performance so the user can store, transport and share documents, music, images, videos, games and many more. It comes in a high quality casing of metallic texture with mirror finish, providing a shiny, bright appearance. The design of this drive protects it against scratches, dust and is even water resistant, making it ideal for long term use.
The Mini M1 does away with the hassle of taking care of the cap. Its portability is enhanced with a crescent lanyard loop opening located at the head of the USB drive, which can be attached to key chains, bags and other accessories. The Mini M1 weighs only 2.8 g, true to its name, is incredibly small and lightweight, making it very portable and easy to carry in your pocket.

There is only 1 cm of length is visible when it attaches to the USB port. Therefore you are able to put your notebook or tablet into your carry bag with the USB flash drive attached which upgrades your data storage mobility.

Although its dimensions are smaller as well, it boasts capacities up to 32 GB, thus making it ideal to store and transfer. With write speeds up to 10 MB/s and read speeds of up to 32 MB/s, you don't have to wait for long for your files to transfer. The drive is compatible with all versions of Windows above 2000, and also Mac OS 10.3 and above, thus making it more versatile.

Like any other PNY flash drives, the Mini M1 comes with a 5-year warranty from the date of purchase.

I think for usb 3.0 it's harder to fit the flash and controller into this tiny form factor.

i was about to say Sandisk does it better and smaller ... :D (i have a 16gb paid less than 19chf... now i just need my friend to give it back to me ... i left it hooked on the back of his Node304 and forgot it )

look at the R/W speed and you will see why 2.0 and not 3.0

if it's a 3.0 those R/W speed make it not worth it... 1cm out of the chassis is not tiny ... a Cruzer Fit barely has 4mm out of it

newtekie1Mushkin does it better: www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226464

Basically as small as the SanDisk, but USB3.0 with Read speeds that can actually use it.
that's great, thanks for notifying it.

tho unless the price can rival with the Cruzer Fit, the later will still hold the crown for me :D but that's nice to know Mushkin does a USB3.0 nano usb key(edit ftw duh...)

edit: damn newegg ... 19.99$ that's the price of my Cruzer Fit 16gb ... DAMN YOU NEWEGG!!!
