Cooler Master Unveils the CM Storm Octane Keyboard and Mouse Combo

Cooler Master, a leading creator, innovator and manufacturer of desktop components and more, today announced CM Storm Octane, a keyboard and mouse combo that covers the whole spectrum.

Gaming in Style
Following the overwhelming success of the Devastator gaming keyboard and mouse combo, Cooler Master is introducing a new combo for those looking to get their game on their way. The Octane comes with 7 different backlighting color options with full backlighting and pulsating glow modes. The colors for the mouse and keyboard can be changed independently for whatever color combination you're looking for.
Precision Control
Built with an AVAGO 3050 optical sensor, the mouse is extremely accurate. With 4 DPI levels ranging from 500 DPI to 3500 DPI, the Octane mouse is as precise as you need it to be. The mouse is capable of handling up to 10 million clicks in its lifetime, so you don't have to worry about it letting you down.
The Octane keyboard offers just about everything you could want in a gaming keyboard. It has dedicated media control keys, dedicated backlight switching key, and a Windows key that you can toggle on and off for when you're in game. The Octane keyboard utilizes adjustable repeat rates and 19-key anti-ghosting technology to ensure that none of your commands are missed, even when using hotkey modifiers.

CM Storm Octane will be available from the end October for a suggested retail price of €39,90 in Europe.Price and availability may vary based on region. This Press Release is for European region. Please consult your local Cooler Master Representative for more information.

Don't like it. Reason? It doesn't have the BIG enter key. Every keyboard without it is a no go for me.

I'm quite the opposite, I hate the big enter key. This layout is perfect for me. Except it has a retarded space button. Big buttons on keyboards are not good as they don't actuate with exactly the same force on every press. It depends on where you hit the key. This space button is a perfect example for that. It will feel one way if you press it on the left side and totally different if you press it on the low right side. The mouse looks good though. That sensor is decent, it's basically a cheaper version of Avago 3090 but it works quite good.

Yeah I know what you're saying, that's what you got used to. For me it's the left shift. Some keyboards, I think UK ones, have the left shift smaller and the | \ key is there between it and Z. Exactly like Enter. If I game on one of those there's a big risk I will throw it against a wall. As I sometimes press the small key instead of shift and that drives me crazy. :D

When you say big, do you mean the backwards L shaped enter keys?
