Lenovo Announces New E-Series and ThinkCentre M-Series Desktops

Lenovo today announced a number of new products and updates to its ThinkCentre and Lenovo line of desktops designed for business users. The ThinkCentre M83 desktop PC is the newest member of the M Series "Tiny" space-saving desktops and the affordable new Lenovo E50-05 joins Lenovo's desktop tower series. In addition to these new products, the stylish and slim ThinkCentre E63z all-in-one is now available with Intel Core i3 processors for an even more responsive PC experience.

"Lenovo remains focused on expanding and improving upon its existing desktop product lines to power businesses of all sizes," said Ouyang Jun, vice president and general manager, Desktop and Visuals, Lenovo. "Our new and affordable Lenovo E50-05 tower and ThinkCentre M83 'Tiny', along with the update to our E63z, are the latest in our ongoing efforts to meet user demands for optimal performance, reliability and manageability."
The portfolio of ThinkCentre products are designed for business user productivity with increased processing power and space saving designs. Additionally, the products feature Lenovo's Smart USB Protection, allowing users and IT managers controlled access to USB ports in addition to Solid State Hybrid Drive (SSHD) support to boost system performance. The products all meet industry energy use standards with solid Energy Star 6.0 ratings, contributing to a smart, green environment.

ThinkCentre M83
New to the family of Lenovo "Tiny" form factor desktop PCs, the ThinkCentre M83 is a full featured micro desktop taking productivity and efficiency to the next level for large enterprises. Small in size with a flexible mounting solution to make best use of desk space, the system features forward-looking technology, including 4th Intel Core processors and support for up to three independent displays. The M83 also comes equipped with manageability tools including PC Cloud Manager 3.0, a free system management tool and Intelligent Cooling Engine (ICE) 3.0 that optimizes system cooling and fan acoustics to help maximize reliability.

Lenovo E50-05
The Lenovo E50-05 is the latest from Lenovo in desktop towers, an affordable option ideal for small and middle sized business. The tower is built on the ultra-fast AMD "Kabini" Socket Platform that is two-times faster than dual-core AMD E-2000 processors and is Athlon/Sempron quad core supported. With extra processing power, AMD "Kabini" Socket Platform improves overall operation flexibility with CPU upgradeability while Microsoft Windows 8 with Bing Support offers customers a new level of productivity from their desktop. The E50-05 also integrates USB 3.0 support so users can quickly and easily transfer music, photos and other files to their PC.

The new model offers reliability and manageability with standard access to the Lenovo Solution Center and Lenovo Rescue System software. Solution Center software allows users to quickly identify the status of their system health, network connections and overall system security which optimizes performance and reduces, or even prevents, downtime and recovery. In addition, the Rescue System software allows users to quickly and easily backup and restore data and recover system files before entering Windows. Built-in one key recovery allows users to restore the computer to the system default or to a previously backed up state quickly.

ThinkCentre E63z Core i3 All-in-One
The ThinkCentre E63z, announced in August, is getting a performance boost with an Intel Core i3 Processor, providing the latest Intel technology at a competitive price with stability, manageability and green environment capabilities. Ideal for cost-conscious small businesses, the ThinkCentre E63z Core i3 packs the same essential features - with even better performance - into the same slim and stylish all-in-one form factor at just 37.5mm thick. The Core i3 processor also supports an HDMI out port, card reader, and a Rapid Charge USB port not available in the previous model.
