TP-LINK Announces Touch P5 Wi-Fi Gigabit Router

TP-LINK, a leading global provider of consumer and business networking products, today announced the availability of its sleek new Touch P5, a touchscreen gigabit router that enables effortless control. Touch P5 gigabit routers can be set up with just a few taps on its elegant, responsive touchscreen, eliminating the need for computer, tablet, or smartphone based configuration. With its clean, user-friendly display interface, Touch P5 makes it easy to manage network settings, modify parental controls, add or remove devices from the network, and change guest access privileges with a touch from your fingertips.

Touch P5 wireless AC routers offer blazing fast Wi-Fi, reaching speeds of up to 1900Mbps for lag-free 4K HD video streaming and online gaming over dual 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands. Plus, Touch P5 routers automatically upgrade networks to 802.11ac, the latest, most powerful Wi-Fi technology.
"With Touch P5 gigabit routers, TP-LINK enhances consumers' networking experience by simplifying Wi-Fi accessibility," said Lewis Wu, executive vice president of TP-LINK USA. "The exquisite design of the Touch P5 makes it perfect for anywhere in the home, while its extraordinary performance ensures a strong Wi-Fi experience for use across a home's multiple devices."

Three external antennas with high-powered amplifiers greatly increase Touch P5 router's coverage range and signal stability. Meanwhile, beamforming technology further improves the router's coverage by helping it locate wireless devices to form stronger, more reliable connections-even when moving mobile devices from room to room.

Additionally, Touch P5 routers feature a guest network, providing visitors with Wi-Fi access separate from the main network, and parental controls that allow users to manage when and how connected devices access the Internet. Touch P5 routers are also backwards-compatible, allowing the router to work with older wireless protocols such as 802.11 b/g/n.
