Give Your RAM Some Extra Bling With Corsair's Dominator Airflow Platinum RGB Fan

CORSAIR silently released a RGB version of their popular Dominator Airflow Platinum fan. RGB fanatics will be able to cool their memory, and do so with utter style. The new cooler is fitted with two 50 mm 4-pin PWM fans with RGB lighting. According to the manufacturer, each fan is capable of delivering up to 10.6 CFM at their maximum rotational speed of 3700 RPM. Users can control the fans' operation and customize their lighting through the CORSAIR LINK software.

The Dominator Airflow Platinum RGB Fan should fit on most motherboards without issues. Nevertheless, you might want to double-check the clearance space between the memory slots and your CPU socket if you're using an oversized CPU air cooler. As far as installation goes, it's pretty straightforward since no mounting hardware or tools are required. You simply clip the cooler on to the memory slots.

Prima.VeraSo much ignorant hate.... Is like somebody is forcing anybody to buy this and/or that or else.... Jeeez.
Such strong words. Not really seeing "ignorant hate". Some are expressing like, some not. RGB lighting isn't for everyone. But some do like their bling.

I'm all for RGB, since you can control it to whatever color you want - wife changes the color on her PC according to her mood lol

that said, DDR4 runs so damn cold i'm not sure this has a purpose beyond looks

HoodThese RAM fans are so useless, they used to give them away with RAM kits. I think g.Skill did that for a while as well.
mine came with a ram kit, but it was charged cuz the same kit without the fan was $20 cheaper, they do lower ram temps since is a fan blowing directly over ram, no science there..., but there is no notable performance there, some people use'em cuz they like how it looks, like me, but there is people that expects like 10 FPS increment or 300mhz moar on next OC....
