It's there to hold the backrest in place. Other than that it basically looks good, racing-chair like. I wonder how long this trend of racing chairs will prevail.

Depends on your requirements, leather is not one of mine, leather just says ewww sticky summers to me. The arm rests look really uncomfortable.

Never mind there is much better out there for this sort of price tag.

Made with real leather WOW it could be made of cow butt.

Your skin will stick to Polyurethane/Vinyl too. Problem I have found with a lot of vinyl seats is the stitching eventually saws through the thread holes.

Probably the same chinese factory that makes DXracer too. These gamer products always look like they came from the set of The 40 Year Old Virgin.

I like the cloth seats they use in cars, why not use that material on "gaming" chairs.

My chair has that, and its glorious, can highly recommend. No sweaty bum, easy to clean, and simply indestructible.

That said, leather does win over PU easily, I mean these materials just last easily twice as long as a PU leather chair and cost about twice the amount, so its a nobrainer IMO. If you're on a tight budget, I guess PU is alright. Everyone else... not sure why you'd waste time.
