Next-Gen Battle Royale Ring of Elysium Officially Launches on Steam

Aurora Studio is thrilled to announce that battle royale shooter, Ring of Elysium has left Early Access and is now a full release on Steam. The well-received title recently released it's latest game mode Ashen Eye which features no zone shrinking and pits players against one another in all-new gameplay. To celebrate the game's official release Aurora Studio will also be rewarding players with a new weapon skin as well as equipment appearances.

Having launched on Steam Early Access on September 19, 2018 Ring of Elysium introduced players to a dynamic weather system in which they battled it out against freezing temperatures and oncoming avalanches while taking out enemy players. The game has since evolved into a fan favorite sparking cosplays as well as an active esports community.
Aurora Studio recently announced the latest game mode which will have players attempting to survive the aftermath of a volcanic eruption on the once paradise island of Europa. Players will have a limited amount of oxygen and will be chasing the ever moving Ashen Eye safe zone in order to get respite from their constantly depleting oxygen levels and attempt to trigger the countdown for the rescue helicopter.

You can check out the game here.

Played a few hours of it, and it turned out to be an enjoyable experience. You always have a vehicle near you (like in your inventory) and it is fun to just ride around. There can be up to 4 final winners so it is possible to win without firing a weapon. The game runs only on DirectX 9 the last time I played it though, for whatever reason.

Or it's an early access title limited to certain regions because the game is only in one language currently..

been playing for months off and on after "big updates" and I can't seem to get hooked on it. If I want to Battle Royale I always go back to PUBG. the rest are meh and have not been a fan of others.

It may just turn out to be a passing fad to some extent. PCGamer has an article that Battle Royale has lost some of it's appeal.

Another plagiarism crap by Tencent. Don't bother wasting your time on it.
Btw, Tencent is who's behind Epic and all the Exclusive nonsense, it's the most evil company in China and probably in the whole world.

My interest and attention burned with a thousand suns starting in early 2017, but since Mid 2018 I'm thoroughly cold to the genre. Never got on the Apex bandwagon because just thinking about playing it made me want to throw up.

Soon. Every release now is already too late really. Asia will probably cling to it a little while longer.

Hope so, I´m not bashing games like fortnite or pubg, but I really wanted talented devs to focus on other new ideas, instead of going after the trendy stuff wich I personally don´t enjoy a single bit. Enjoyed a bit of Apex and that´s it.

I won't begrudge any gamer their Battle Royale games if that's what they like but it's just not my thing. I like single player campaigns so I'm glad to see Developers working on those as much as possible.

Battle royale is so 2018, all that's left of it is a stale, colossal twitch streamers marketing which continues encouraging kids to sign their asses on this overrated garbage too and tryhards attempting to follow Fortnite success that barely hit it's jackpot.

Read the reviews. Lots of people said they have a clause in the ToS to harvest all of your data. And it's from Chinese developers. Enough said.
