PNY Releases NVIDIA Quadro FX 4600 and Quadro FX 5600 Graphics

PNY Technologies, the supplier and marketer of NVIDIA Quadro by PNY professional graphics boards announced today the immediate availability of next generation NVIDIA Quadro by PNY solutions based on new NVIDIA Quadro FX 4600 and FX 5600 graphics, and NVIDIA GSync genlock/frame lock and HD SDI options. These new ultra high-end professional graphics solutions meet the challenges of the most complex 3D design, DCC, visualization, scientific, and broadcast applications with a new unified architecture, Shader Model 4.0 technology, large frame buffers, and GPU computing for visualization technology. The new NVIDIA Quadro by PNY solutions include:

  • NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600 by PNY Technologies - Features an industry-first 1.5GB frame buffer with memory bandwidth of up to 76.8GB/sec for interactive visualization and processing of large textures and frames. This solution also offers full WindowsÒ Vista compatibility, compute programmability, and support for advanced 32- or 64-bit workstation architectures.
  • NVIDIA Quadro FX 4600 by PNY Technologies - Offers ultra high-end performance, compatibility with all Windows Vista features, a large 768MB frame buffer with memory bandwidth of up to 57.6GB/sec., and 32- or 64-bit driver support enabling the visualization of the largest 64-bit datasets.
The new NVIDIA Unified Architecture dynamically allocates compute, geometry, shading and pixel processing power for optimized GPU performance in any application. Full Shader Model 4.0 and DirectX 10 capability support the new Microsoft Windows Vista user interface, future-proofing these solutions for next-generation applications by incorporating advanced Vista capabilities. Full industry-standard OpenGL 2.1 support for Windows or Linux assures forward and backward compatibility with the largest possible library of professional graphics solutions available.

GPU computing for visualization incorporates NVIDIA CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture) technology, which allows developers to fully access advanced compute capabilities on the CPU using the C programming language.
