GIGABYTE Launches Radeon RX 6900 XT AORUS MASTER Graphics Card

GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co. Ltd, a leading manufacturer of premium gaming hardware, today announced new AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics cards powered by AMD RDNA 2 gaming architecture. The AORUS Radeon RX 6900 XT MASTER 16G and Radeon RX 6900 XT GAMING OC 16G graphics cards are engineered to deliver ultra-high frame rate and 4K gaming.

The AORUS MASTER graphics card features MAX-Covered cooling, LCD edge view and RGB Fusion 2.0. It is recommended for enthusiasts who want the ultimate performance, a customizable display and colorful RGB lighting. The GAMING OC graphics card features the WINDFORCE cooling system and RGB Fusion 2.0, making it is the best choice for performance gamers.
The MAX-Covered cooling features three unique blade fans with a wind claw design and alternate spinning to deliver optimal airflow across the entire heatsink. The heat dissipation area of the heat-sink is larger than in the previous generation and a larger copper plate and seven composite heat-pipes enable heat from the GPU and VRAM to dissipate quickly. Coupled with GIGABYTE's screen cooling technology, the extended heatsink fins allow air to pass through, forming an extremely efficient heat dissipation system to ensure stable operation.

A powerful LCD monitor is embedded on the side of the graphics card, which can be set to enthusiastic mode, text mode, image mode or GIF mode. With GIGABYTE software, gamers can display all kinds of content, or set the monitor to CHIBI Time mode to enjoy the changes of the little falcon logo every hour. RGB Fusion 2.0 allows gamers to not only set the lighting effects of the entire graphics card and LCD monitor, but also to synchronize the lighting with other AORUS devices. AORUS MASTER also features aerospace-grade PCB coating, a Dual BIOS with quiet operation mode and ULTRA DURABLE certified components. It is recommended for enthusiasts who want the ultimate 4k gaming performance with colorful RGB lighting.

The GIGABYTE WINDFORCE 3X cooling system features three unique blade fans, alternate spinning, a large copper plate directly touching the GPU, composite copper heat pipes and 3D active fans that work together to provide efficient heat dissipation. The middle fan spins in reverse to optimize airflow for heat dissipation, enabling more efficient performance. These cooling technologies keep the graphics card at low temperatures at all times, resulting in higher and more stable performance.

WINDFORCE fans utilize graphene nano lubricant, which can extend fan life by 2.1 times, delivering nearly the lifespan of the double ball bearing while providing quiet operation. RGB fusion 2.0 allows users to adjust the color of the lights and various special effects and synchronize with other AORUS devices. Due to its ULTRA DURABLE certified components, advanced cooling technology and custom RGB lighting, GAMING OC is the best choice for performance gamers.

GIGABYTE graphics cards use a multi-phase power supply, providing over-temperature protection and load balancing for each MOSFET and allowing the MOSFET to operate at a lower temperature. The ULTRA DURABLE certified chokes and capacitors provide excellent performance and longer system life. The metal back plate not only strengthens the overall structure of the graphics card, but also prevents the PCB from bending or sustaining damage. To deliver a better user experience, AORUS graphics cards provide customers with a 4-year warranty (requires online registration within 30 days of the purchase date) so that they can enjoy gaming and create content without any worry.

I have the 6800 XT Aorus Master. Great looking card and it performs well with one caveat. The LCD screen other than being a total gimmick actually causes my mouse cursor on the desktop and sometimes games to slightly stutter roughly every 1-2 seconds. The fix was to stop all services related to the LCD screen and delete all files associated to stop the LCD service from running again. Now I am stuck with that pointless Aorus Eagle moving around on the screen. I think the first time the card comes out for cleaning I will unplug that screen or put black vinyl over top of it.
