GTA IV Trailer and Screenshots

Grand Theft Auto fans will be pleased to hear that the first official screenshots for GTA IV, along with a short trailer, have been released. Although there is no specific detail on where the game will be based, something to note from the trailer is that it has the Statue of Liberty (or perhaps a mock version of it) which would suggest at least part of the game is to be set in New York. To download the high res version of the trailer you will need to visit the GTA IV site and click on "Trailer Files" (it's just under 70MB). The five screenshots available at present are below, and for anyone who is unaware, the game will be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on October 16th this year.

The game looks good, no doubt about that. However, some of the names used to described buildings, billboards, etc are a bit cheesy.

This would be one of the things that could tempt me to get a PS3 or 360 - depends on how long the delay is. Sony are losing exclusives quickly nowadays, at least the PS2 always had a headstart on GTA. If I get a console to play this, it would almost definitely be a 360 because they are so much cheaper.

Looks nice, but a bit jagged in some places, probably just the screenshots.

Can I just say, how much I hate the GTA series? On the other hand, the screen shots look beautiful and very nice. But, I digress, I cant stand this game.

I do... but I just spent £180 on a Wii so I can't justify another £200 on a console!!!

I'm waiting for the good Wii games, then I might forget that I care about GTA :D
Plus I want to save up for a decent laptop soon so I better not waste too much money :(
