Sapphire to Release Air-Cooled Version of the RX 6900 XT Toxic Graphics Card
Sapphire seems to be preparing an air-cooled version of its top-of-the-line RX 6900 XT Toxic graphics card, eschewing the hybrid cooling philosophy from its original release in favour of a more traditional full air cooling solution. In fact, Sapphire seems to be re-purposing the triple-fan cooling solution from its Nitro + graphics cards whist changing the color scheme to the yellow of the Toxic series.
That should me more than sufficient to keep the card cool, however, while other improvements present in the Toxic RX 6900 XT (such as the usage of the Navi 21 XTX chip and improvements to the circuit board and power delivery enabling much higher clocks and overclocking) are still present, justifying the top-tier Toxic naming on this graphics card. Sapphire has announced the RX 6900 XT Toxic reaches a Boost Clock of 2425 MHz and a Game Clock of 2235 MHz - lower than the hybrid-cooled version's 2525 MHz and 2375 MHz, respectively. No word on pricing or availability was available at time of writing.

So yeah, spending 500usd over the 3090 to get the fastest GPU at 1080p/1440p is kinda moot LMAO, which is why the 6900XTs are collecting dust at Microcenters
And you also forget that there are cherry picked 3090 such as Kingpin and Galax HOF, which go above AIB 3090.
Only reason should there be any RTX 3000 or RX 6000 cards left in stock is due to retailers are selling them at scalper's pricing, perhaps some more so because local retailers' cards are backed with local warranty.....
See a true comparison below, limited to only one 6900 XTXH that has been reviewed on this site. Asrock 6900 XTXH versus EVGA 3090 FTW3 Ultra. The Sapphire 6900 XTXH Toxic Extreme and Powercolor's two variants are even faster.
The 2 charts you just cherry picked also showed that 3090 FTW3 is 4% faster than 3090 FE while Asrock 6900XT OC Formula only win by 1%.
If you like cherry picked silicon, there are Kingpin 3090 and Galax 3090 HOF.
The pricing of those 6900XTXH is also plain wrong, that why they are sitting on shelves at Microcenter.
Steam Hardware Survey show considerable market adoption for every Ampere GPU, obviously because Ampere are much more reasonably priced LMAO
In this comparison every other GPU has the same FPS number across 2 reviews, leaving only 6900XT OC Formula vs 3090 Extreme Holo
Every other 6900XTXH review on the web show that its only 5-7% faster than Reference 6900XT, in no way that 6900XTXH can beat AIB 3090.
It’s not a bias to realize binned chips inserted in good designs benefit with good performance.
I can enjoy the hell out of my spare R9 290 too, if all I played are Genshin or DOTA/CSGO, but for some +2000usd GPU I expect it to play all the latest games @ 4K with RT, which I do.
