TechPowerUp ThrottleStop v9.4 Released
TechPowerUp today released the latest version of ThrottleStop by Kevin Glynn, a utility that lets you take greater control over the power management features of your processor, which could prove particularly useful to squeeze the most performance out of notebooks. Version 9.4 introduces a couple of new features and fixes a few issues. To begin with, you can now disable all C-states above C1. We've also added the Ring Down Bin setting. Power throttling explanation has been improved for "Skylake-X" processors. Security of the application's kernel-mode driver has been improved. The MSR and MMIO power limits are now separately reported. The FIVR - Disable and Lock feature has been improved for 11th Gen processors. Grab ThrottleStop from the link below.

Is there any reason to use this new version over older versions on older systems(example S1366/S2011)?
Beyond that, most of the new features are for newer 11th Gen computers.
