Brown switches is an odd choice for an 8000hz polling keyboard. I mean, I prefer browns over linear switches myself, but keyboard marketed towards the 'twitchy gamer'(8000hz polling rate), you'd think they'd have used Cherry Silvers, Optical switches, or at the very least Cherry Reds.

Why the enter key has to be a slim one like that?

Double-ClickSpigen? Phone cases and accessories Spigen...ok...
Yes, that was my thoughts as well.

Because it's an ANSI keyboard layout? Why does this discussion happen every time there's a discussion about new keyboards?
ANSI = the Americas and parts of Asia, ISO = Europe and some other parts of the world. Then there are some crappy hybrid variants as well that you really, really don't want.
PumpTheKinHave to admit, the price is decent though. £203 Amazon UK.
It's only $190 in the US, plus there's a 20% coupon right now...

UK folks get screwed always on price, I am just comparing it to equivelent - like keyboard builds elsewhere, most are in the £250 upwards bracket.

Ah, my bad. Been always thinking that ISO is the world standard layout.

We can only wish. I can't type properly on an ANSI keyboard.

That, and NO chopped off, tweener-anime-clad TKL version either, HOW DARE THEY..

It looks like a nice board, but at $190, it better function extremely well too, or else there's gonna be ALOT of backlash on Spigen for launching an overpriced paperweight....

So a company I've never heard of until right this moment (thanks to reading the article) is offering a generic looking office keyboard with some "gamer lights" and supposed 8K polling rate for the crazy stupid price of $190 USD? I wouldn't touch this thing with a 10 foot pole. Not to mention the choice of switch - generic Cherry browns? My first thought was either silvers, even reds...not browns. :wtf: :kookoo:

PumpTheKinRight but your keyboard don't have the features of the Spigen which makes the big difference.

The expensive ones don't even match it.
True, but I also don't care about those features (just preference).

Would rather have something of higher build quality that's simple.
Still have a Filco Majestouch I that's 12+ years old too.

I would wait for a real review of it, looks can be deceiving and I have owned cheap Amazon boards that feel better than expensive ones.

You have a weird definition of decent price :D

It's pretty outrageous, you can over pay for a corsair keyboard with per key rgb (which this one doesn't seem to have - weird thing to cheap out on at 200$) and be able to use the same crappy app you might already use with other stuff instead of an extra one.

IMO the only thing it has going for it is using cherry browns when several keyboards are only coming with red's or some other linear and/or optical twitch game oriented crap

yea idk, 1000hz seems sufficient for keyboards. The delayed actuations alone would probably make this slower than analogue keyboards in practice.

And still not worth that, looks more like a $60-70 at best.

Such discrimination. Where are the keyboards for gamers who want slow ones?

I like Spigen I;ve had several Spigen phone cases and they've all done a very good job at protecting my phone. This keyboard though... The price is ridiculous (but lots are these days) and 8K seems pointless as 1000HZ is plenty for modern peripherals. Also, if this is the "fastest" keyboard wouldn't it make sense to have speed silvers instead of brown switches?
