Cherry Unveils New Gaming and Office Peripherals at CES 2025

At CES 2025, CHERRY XTRFY showcased a wide range of products, including the MX 8.3 TKL Wireless and MX 10.1 Wireless keyboards, the H3 Wireless headset, and the GP6 and GP7 mousepads. In the office segment, CHERRY unveiled its first hot-swappable mechanical keyboard, the KW 300 MX, along with the low-profile KC 500 MX LP series and the wireless KW 550 MX LP. The H3 Wireless headset launches in early 2025, with other products following in the second quarter.

CHERRY XTRFY, founded in 1953, is a company with a long and impressive history in the industry, known to many as synonymous with high-end mechanical keyboard switches and peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and headsets designed for passionate gamers, e-sports players, and office environments. Now, let's take a closer look at their latest products showcased at CES 2025.
The CHERRY XTRFY MX 8.3 TKL Wireless is a premium keyboard offering high-performance features including 4000 Hz wireless and 8000 Hz wired polling rates. It features a gasket construction with hot-swappable CHERRY MX2A switches and PBT keycaps. The keyboard offers triple connectivity (2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth for up to three devices, and wired) and includes an integrated display with rotary knob for controlling various functions, including RGB lighting, media, profiles, and monitoring battery status and typing speed. The MX 8.3 TKL Wireless will be priced at 299 EUR/USD.
The MX 10.1 is a new low-profile, full-size wireless keyboard featuring CHERRY MX LOW PROFILE 2.0 switches, PBT keycaps, and an aluminium construction. Matching the features of the MX 8.3 TKL Wireless, it includes three connection modes, a rotary knob, LCD display, and high-performance wireless (4K) and wired (8K) technology. This slim keyboard will retail for 279 EUR/USD.
The CHERRY KW 300 MX is a new hot-swappable mechanical keyboard designed for office use and casual gaming. It features CHERRY MX2A switches with PBT double shot keycaps and offers both USB-C and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, supporting up to three devices. The keyboard includes adjustable white backlighting, a control selector for various functions, and comes with additional keycaps for Mac users. Key technical features include N-key rollover, anti-ghosting, 1000 Hz polling rate, and AES-128 encryption. The keyboard will be priced at 109.99 EUR/USD.
The KC 500 MX LP Keyboard is a professional / office oriented keyboard that will be available in a full-size and TKL version. It includes a metal plate construction, CHERRY's quiet MX Low Profile 2.0 switches under wear-resistant PBT keycaps, features backlighting, snap-out feet and status LEDs. The KC 500 MX LP also has a metal plate construction for high stability and resistance, even with its slim design.
The KW 550 LP is a slim wireless mechanical keyboard featuring a 96% layout and CHERRY MX Low Profile 2.0 switches. It comes with durable PBT keycaps and offers both USB and Bluetooth connectivity, supporting up to three devices. The keyboard includes adjustable white backlighting, a battery status indicator through the CHERRY key, and snap-out feet. It's designed as a premium keyboard for office and daily use, the price for the CHERRY KW 550 MX LP is set to be 119.99 EUR/USD.
CHERRY XTRFY's first wireless headset, the H3, combines competitive gaming features with everyday versatility. It includes multiple audio modes and dual connectivity options through low-latency wireless and Bluetooth. The H3 features 53 mm drivers, a comfortable design with aluminium construction, over-ear cups, and memory foam padding. The battery life is up to 100 hours and can be charged while in use. The CHERRY XTRFY H3 Wireless headset will be available for 129 EUR/USD.
CHERRY XTRFY also introduced two new premium mousepads, the GP6 and GP7, designed for high-speed gaming. The GP6 features an ultra-dense fabric surface with stitched edges and a natural rubber base, available in black and a special Hydrus Red design. The GP7 stands out by incorporating graphene technology, making it lightweight and extremely durable, with superior thermal conductivity and precision. Both mousepads come in size L, with the GP6 priced at 29 EUR/USD and the GP7 at 39 EUR/USD.

I love some of their no-frills designs. But I don't see myself paying the asking prices and not getting at least a USB passthrough in return.
