Arctic Announces Freezer 4U-M Cooler for Threadripper 7000 Series

Yesterday AMD released the new Ryzen Threadripper 7000 and AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 WX series for socket sTR5. With the Freezer 4U-M, ARCTIC provides a strong cooling solution for the power-hungry CPUs with up to 96 cores, 5,35 GHz and 350 Watt TDP. With the new generation of workstation processors also known as Storm Peak, AMD offers a significant performance boost compared to the previous series. The ARCTIC Freezer 4U-M was specifically tested by AMD for these high-performance CPUs and met the specified performance values with plenty of margin.

To enable maximum airflow, the single-tower cooler with push-pull fan setup is specifically optimized for the east-west socket orientation (back-exhaust setup) of most Threadripper and EPYC boards and, unlike other cooler manufacturers, offers direct airflow in desktop - and server cases. The Freezer 4U-M is also compatible with AMD's SP6, SP3, TR4, sTRX4 and sWRX8, as well as Intel's LGA4189 and LGA4677 sockets.

Looks to be HDT.
IIRC (and by personal experience), heatpipe direct transfer coolers don't do as well on MCMs under the IHS.
Perhaps, the thicker IHS (presumably on TR7k) mitigates this but, most server-industrial coolers use a Vapor Chamber instead of HDT.

Still... 'wondering to myself how to make this beefcake work on unsupported applications.

Looks like an east-west config will bump into RAM?

By looking at that one photo, it looks like a very neat and well designed cooler.

Those CPU's come with 350W of TDP.
