Synology Launches VS600HD, an Efficient TV-wall Solution for Surveillance Station

Synology today announced the launch of the VisualStation VS600HD, a compact monitoring and management client for Synology Surveillance Station. VS600HD supports up to dual 4K displays and is easily VESA mountable behind monitors, enabling space-efficient TV-wall deployments for security teams. "VS600HD makes it extremely simple to create a custom monitoring solution," said Joseph Liang, Product Manager for Synology surveillance products. "We designed VS600HD to be practically plug-and-play, allowing for energy and space-efficient monitoring and management of cameras, access control, and more."

With dual 4K HDMI outputs, each VS600HD supports concurrently displaying up to 50 camera feeds arranged across two displays. Multiple VS600HDs can be deployed in tandem to support more extensive video monitoring needs. Depending on the needs of the deployment, customizable access to camera controls, maps, previous recordings, and more can be enabled to allow for faster security incident response. Surveillance Station supports per-user permissions and delegation for maximum flexibility.
Secure surveillance platform
Synology Surveillance Station and VS600HD support HTTPS video streams in conjunction with additional volume-level and file-level encryption options to protect recorded footage. The VS600HD is compliant with US federal NDAA and TAA requirements, assuring users of its adherence to the security standards.

At over €600, it will stuggle to compete against a mitx/nuc

Shame, because it seems like an easy to set up edge client for synology Surveillance Station that i use for security and also checking up on the grandparents front door hallway.

If they could push that price closer to €400 I'd get one.
