ASUS Announces ZenScreen Smart Monitor MS27UC with Google TV

ASUS today announced ZenScreen Smart MS27UC, the brand's first Google TV smart monitor. Google TV brings together movies, shows, and more from a variety of streaming services and offers users a personalized entertainment experience. ZenScreen Smart MS27UC boasts a 27-inch 4K (3840 x 2160) IPS panel with wide 178° viewing angles, a 99% sRGB gamut, VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, and dual front-facing 5 W Harman Kardon-certified speakers. Plus, a source control feature enables viewers to easily switch between Productivity or Play modes.

With ZenScreen Smart MS27UC, there's no need for a dedicated PC. Users can conduct online meetings and browse content via the web browser, and logging in to a Google Account allows them to create and sync work and documents on Google Workspace. The monitor also offers seamless connections to multiple devices, including PCs and smartphones through Miracast or Google Cast, with the multi-control feature enabling seamless navigation via a single Bluetooth mouse and keyboard.
ZenScreen Smart MS27UC has a stylish and functional design that includes special acoustic fabric and a convenient storage compartment at the rear of the monitor. Its ergonomic stand provides -15° to +18° tilt and 100 mm of height adjustment to ensure comfortable eye-level viewing. A smartly-designed cable management feature keeps wires organized for a clutter-free setup.

A complete entertainment experience
With Google TV, users can get curated recommendations and use Google's powerful search to find thousands of movies and shows across 10,000+ apps. They can use their voice to find shows, play music, control smart home devices, and more. Plus, with personalized watchlists and profiles, everyone's experience is customized for them.

The built-in Harman Kardon-certified speakers deliver a warm and detailed sound signature to deliver rich listening experiences, while the 27-inch 4K panel offers 99% sRGB gamut and is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified.

Seamlessly connects to a variety of devices
ZenScreen Smart MS27UC works perfectly as both a control and entertainment hub, with extensive wired and wireless connectivity options including USB Type-C with 90 W Power Delivery, HDMI, DisplayPort, and two USB hubs to connect to laptops, smartphones, and tablets. The Multi-control feature enables ZenScreen Smart MS27UC to function as a central hub for connected devices, allowing the user to control PCs, laptops, and a mobile phone via a single Bluetooth keyboard and mouse set. The Multi-view function offers split-screen multitasking for users to view and interact with content from two sources simultaneously on ZenScreen Smart MS27UC.

Easy multiplatform streaming
The integrated Multi-Platform Live Streaming app allows ZenScreen Smart MS27UC users to broadcast live videos and content for others to see for up to four online streaming sites simultaneously, including YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and other platforms.

ASUS Design Thinking
ZenScreen Smart MS27UC has an ultrathin bezel and a 150 mm stand with compact footprint to enable users to maximize desktop space. The stand has an elegant shape inspired by the ASUS 'A' monogram - symbolizing leadership. A cable management hole in the middle of the stand ensures a tidy and clutter-free workspace. The speakers of ZenScreen Smart MS27UC are wrapped in professional-grade speaker cloth and premium two-tone acoustic knitted fabric. Together, they combines with the monitor's Lightning Silver matte coating to create a layered, intricate and warm aesthetic. An OSD joystick on the underside of the bezel allow for intuitive monitor settings adjustments. Plus, a storage compartment at the rear of the monitor can be used to stow the remote control, or thin keyboard and mouse set.

Shame this wasn't around when I was looking for a 27" 4K Smart Monitor, I had to settle for a Samsung 32" for my desk.
