These Philips business monitors deliver optimal performance while reducing energy consumption, thus contributing to an overall lower power usage in the workspace.
Introducing three new Philips monitors to the professional display line-up: The Philips 27B2G5500, 24B2G5200, and 27B2G5200 are the ideal solutions for those looking for an environmentally considerate option in their offices. The Philips 27B2G5200 and 27B2G5500 are equipped with the latest generation 27-inch IPS panels, while the 24B2G5200 features a 24-inch IPS panel. All offer low energy consumption compared to its peers, making them ideal options for everyday tasks. The Philips 24B2G5200 and 27B2G5200 monitors feature Full HD resolution for high-quality imagery and a 100 Hz refresh rate for smoothness, while the Philips 27B2G5500 has Quad HD resolution. Most notably, these monitors are equipped with sensors designed to minimize their environmental impact.
Power saving features and 100% recyclable packaging
The Philips 27B2G5500, 24B2G5200, and 27B2G5200 are ideal for choosing a more environment friendly option for your monitor. Not only do they come in 100% recyclable packaging material, but their energy-saving features make them a long-lasting environmentally conscious option. All three models are also certified with TCO 9.0 and EPEAT Gold rating.

The LightSensor on these monitors detects the ambient light and adjusts to the perfect brightness with minimal power, while the PowerSensor feature will turn the monitor into power-saving mode when no user is observed in front of the screen. For the Philips 24B2G5200 and 27B2G5200 monitors, the PowerSensor can save up to 80% of energy costs, while the Philips 27B2G5500 has the potential to save up to 70%.

The Philips 27B2G5500, 24B2G5200 and 27B2G5200: TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe RPF 40 certified
In addition to their power-saving connectivity, the Philips 27B2G5500, 24B2G5200, and 27B2G5200 are designed to be easy on the eyes. To protect against the potentially adverse health effects that blue light emissions can have, these monitors reduce the amount to safe levels and have been certified with the TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe RPF 40 designation. Moreover, these monitors also have Low Blue mode and hardware-based SoftBlue technology to effectively further reduce the blue light being emitted from the screen and make the viewing experience more comfortable.

Additional features of the Philips 27B2G5500, 24B2G5200, and 27B2G5200
The Philips 27B2G5500, 24B2G5200, and 27B2G5200 are made to make the office more energy efficient. However, there are additional features that make them a great all-around option for occupational work. Thanks to their IPS panels, the screens have wide viewing angles of 178°(H)/178°(V) so the picture being displayed can be viewed consistently.

For accessory storage and comfort, it's important to mention that this monitor is equipped with the best of both worlds: the earphone hook is easy to pull down from the side of the monitor for clever storage, while the ergonomic stand offers comfort with height, pivot, swivel, and tilt adjustments to fit to a variety of user preferences. For increased versatility, all three models feature integrated USB hubs with 4 USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports to connect various peripherals, with two of the ports being side-mounted for easy access. For a complete setup, all models feature 2x 3 W speakers, too.

Sounds like a great workhorse monitor, reminds me of the old Dell Ultrasharps. Bonus points for the USB Hub placed on the left side, not on the bottom where it is impossible to access (recent Dells put it on the bottom and it's a pain in the ass to use).

If it had Freesync I'd probably get one, since it otherwise has everything I want from a monitor.

Ultrasharp monitors larger than 38" have pop out usb hub on front and for ultrawide monitors having that hub on bottom makes more sense than on left edge or left rear side of monitor.

If I was buying 38" Ultrasharps then I would be entirely uninterested in these Philips monitors.
