Targus Unveils Thunderbolt 5 Docking Station Equipped With Intel's Thunderbolt Share Capabilities at CES 2025

Targus, the number one third-party docking station and laptop case brand in the US1 and a leader in mobile computing accessories, today unveiled its powerful, new DOCK230: Thunderbolt 5 Triple Video 8K EcoSmart Docking Station with 140 W EPR equipped with the latest Intel Thunderbolt Share technology at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2025), Jan 5th-10th. This is one of the first enterprise docking stations on the market to come with Thunderbolt Share capabilities to enable two Thunderbolt host machines to share a single monitor and keyboard/mouse.

Designed to transform any workstation into a powerhouse, the DOCK230: Thunderbolt 5 Triple Video 8K EcoSmart Docking Station with 140 W EPR delivers 140 W charging power, crystal-clear triple 8K video, and blazing-fast 120 Gbps speeds from a Thunderbolt 5 dock, while incorporating Intel's Thunderbolt Share technology. This enables seamless sharing of displays and files with just one keyboard and mouse. For improved sustainability, this EcoSmart dock is also crafted from 75% recycled post-consumer plastics and aluminium, plus comes in recycled packaging.

Zip through data transfers with 80 Gbps of bidirectional bandwidth while Bandwidth Boost enables three video streams with up to 120 Gbps of bandwidth for video, thanks to Thunderbolt 5 connectivity. Plus, it supports ultra-fast network connections with 2.5 Gbps Ethernet, all while keeping it powered up with a robust 140 W EPR. Significant feature improvements include three DP streams, up to 80 Gbps of bidirectional throughput, up to 120 Gbps of display bandwidth, 2.5 Gbps Ethernet bandwidth, and 140 W EPR for faster laptop charging.

Available in Q1 2025, this brand-new Thunderbolt 5 8K Dock with 140 W EPR will be on display at CES this week.
