Guitar Hero 3 Coming to PC and Mac

Rocking out with a big plastic guitar will soon no longer be purely the privilege of the console owning masses, as Aspyr announces an exclusive deal with Activision to develop and publish Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock for the PC and Mac platforms this fall. On top of all of the regular features of the game, Aspyr's version will allow PC and Mac users to battle against each other in online multiplayer.

I hate it when people brag about their guitar hero skills.."OMG I beat GH2 on expert!!" Big deal..I can play half of the song list in RL. GH is as overrated as the Wii.

GH is a great game. Frets on Fire not so much, only reason I dl'ed it was for the extra songs. I'm really looking forward to GH3 for my 360!!

Can't wait personally. Guitar Hero is a great game, especially for parties. In terms of bragging its no different that broadcasting your k/d in CSS or point totals in BF2...

It's only fun to brag when you're in front of other people who've played the game before...on medium.

I've actually had an audience while I was playing Free Bird on Expert....

But hey, congratulations on playing the songs on real guitar. I'll be honest...Guitar Hero 2 inspired me to learn the guitar. I figured that I could play War Pigs, and a few months later...I know quite a few Black Sabbath songs :)

War Pigs
Iron Man
Paranoid
Hand of Doom
Fairies Wear Boots
Children of the Grave

*I know, I need to expand my play-list...learning guitar takes a while :p*

Instead of assuming the fantasy that you can play guitar for a few minutes, you should actually learn to play it. There is nothing I would reccomend you learn more than Guitar.

Lets be honest here, I've been playing guitar for about 12 years now and it takes dedication and practice. Personally i try to play at least an hour per day to keep improving. With real guitar there is no 'easy' setting that allows you to hit only a few notes but still tear out a crazy solo. Guitar Hero is a great game simply because it makes people they achieve something, even if it is a false sense of talent :P

I must admit, the first two guitar heroes, having finally played them, were damn fun and entertaining. I cannot wait to see what 3 is gonna be like and the new tunes included.
