NVIDIA Crysis ForceWare 169.01 Beta Released

Just in time for the release of Crytek's next-gen FPS, NVIDIA has unleashed a new Crysis demo recommended ForceWare drivers. The ForceWare 169.01 beta comes with support for GeForce 6, 7 and 8 series of video cards. This release also adds several game and application compatibility fixes.

No, it really hasn't taken them a long time to release this. Their last driver release was less than a month ago. However, they have just recently gotten back into the rythem of monthly driver releases.

No problems with Rivatuner over here, but then again I don't have an 8000 series card.

Ya, now that the Crysis demo is over(that was soooo anticlimatical lol), I'm going to revert back to 163 until Riva gets an update.


But at least that Gainward tool was temporarily helpful.

This is pretty much it :

As I posted in another thread, the 163.69 had Crysis optimization listed in it's notes, and the 169 wasn't an improvement FPS wise. It might be for some, but I think more for lower end systems.
