OCZ HydroJet on Display at CES

The long awaited and better late than never released OCZ HydroJet self-contained liquid cooler for CPUs has a new face-lift. The OCZ HydroJet is the first heatsink to make use of directional carbon nanotubes in the base of the cooler for improved thermal performance. On the two pictures below you'll see the fourth generation HydroJet prototype pictured during the first day of CES 2008.

Im hoping it will be priced right. $75.00 USD would be terrific.

I believe nanotubes direct the flow of heat, which is what makes it a more effective cooler

the nanotubes in theory, allow heat to go one way only, and in one direction only.

The heat comes up off the CPU, and cant go back down or off to the sides etc - ONLY to the cooling area.

Duke Nukem Forever comes packaged with the cooler, it would be a tie in. You definitely wouldn't be mounting that thing horizontally.

It's going to need one helluva backing plate to distribute the force of it's weight evenly and safely.
