ASUS Eee PC with Windows XP Outlined
ASUS North American headquarters today confirmed the plan to offer channel-wide availability of the Microsoft Windows XP-based Eee PC. "The Eee PC has been a tremendous success since our initial launch in November last year, and our channel customers tell us they want to offer even more options to their end consumers. With the new Windows XP based offerings, we expect to engage with a broader customer base whose existing software and applications require a Windows' based device," said Jackie Hsu, President of ASUS America Channel. The Microsoft Windows XP-preinstalled Eee PC is expected to be available through ASUS North American authorized resellers by the end of Q1, 2008. The introductory models will be equipped with 4GB or 8GB of solid state drive. Pricing information is not available at this time.

Or is this version even too big for the Eee?
EDIT: actually, the Eee website just says Windows, it doesn't specify that it will be XP
