Call of Duty 4 Map Pack Coming to Consoles

Publisher Activision today announced its intention to release new downloadable multiplayer maps for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4. The content packs should arrive this spring. No mention of pricing, map details, or a PC release was made in the statement.
We're excited about the new maps, and the added gameplay variety, and we can't wait to wrap things up and get online with everyone,
said Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling.

You guys have to understand that if Activison and its golden developer Infinity Ward can make money off of console players, they are bound to to bring the maps to the console first.

True you got to go with the flow of the money train to stay afloat and its getting harder to do in todays world. But it dont stop us PC gamers from wanting to be able to get what the console guy's get and vise versa for the console guy's to. All gamers want the same no matter what you game on be it PC or console.;)

Indeed, but you won't find a pc gamer who will pay for map packs if they can easily download it on a third party site. That's why COD4 is on Steam now, so they can control the updates. However, even with steam people are cracking it on the PC. Activation has the ability to control console users, but hasn't come close to controlling pc users.
