Mushkin HP GeForce 8800GT 512MB Overclocked Edition v2 Spotted

American high-end memory manufacturer Mushkin has revealed that it is working on a new GeForce 8800 GT version, the 8800 GT G92 512 Mushkin HP Overclocked Edition v2. Mushkin has equipped the card with custom dual-slot cooler and 512MB GDDR3 memory clocked at 1900 MHz. The core frequency for this model has also been changed to 675MHz from the standard 600MHz. Other unique features come with the card's bundle, where you'll find a Mushkin T-shirt and USB flash drive with drivers. Expect HP Overclocked Edition 8800 GT v2 later this month for around 260 Euros.

I like the USB flash drive with drivers on it. That is genious. It can't be any more expensive than sending out CDs, and the driver version sent out with the card can easily be changed as new drivers come out, plus you give the user a nice bonus of USB flash drive even if it is only 128MB or 512MB.

That is one gorgeous card that I would sell this here 3870 HD to have in my machine and I would be the KING of the g33ks if I wore that T-shirt to any local PC shop...even tho' they probably don't know who Mushkin are either

Well done Mushkin.

I'm really fascinated in their PSU's though you don't get them here :shadedshu

Completely agree with Newtekie1 above. Plus the free t-shirt.

Seems like a reduced layers card, not all solid caps too and overpriced. Like the shirt & USB stick, coolers looks soso. That will be a bitch to RMA, wonder if they sniff the shirts :D

Looks like the Gigabyte 8800GT. 3 Phase 8800GT. Looks like a pretty nice card to me, but I have to say, why doesnt mukshin do what Gigabyte do and eliminate the redundant PCB (towards the rear IO)

I like the cooler myself. Though they could have gone away of the Dual slot and made it single slot.
