In fact, given that AMD has been a poor performer and got a lot of flak for it over the last 12 months, then the label "AMD GAME!" is *not* brand enhancing at all. Quite the reverse!

I have their TMG-AT1 cooling my X1900XT. Very nice stock looking heatsink that is quiet and effective in cooling.
Im still hanging with AMD..
I have heard a few good things about their higher end PSs though
makes it easy for newbies to spot things that can play games
unlike intels centrino that will only play solitare :P
Mobile Core2 processors are used though. ;)
:laugh: Just kidding. I like AMD, minus their quads.;)
but where is the 1 st AMD GAME Certified CPU and GPU ? :laugh:
other games played are CoH & Oblivion
::EDIT::
as far as i have seen - all Core Duo laptops are still being sold by the likes of Comet, Dixons, Pc world & possibly a few other more places. usually on some sort of offer or on clearance.
theres still a few Yonah & Merom cores out there in the world
AMD GAME! has been around a while, but this is the first bit I've seen where they're trying to start tying it in with hardware manufacturers - hopefully game developers will be next.
Thinking about it, this is from the AMD newsletter discussions and surveys you take. Well, the AMD Insight deal that is.
Nothing special about the Centrino Term.
