All the details of the ATI Mobility Radeon X1600
Hexus.net had a first look at an ATI Mobility Radeon X1600. Now Hartware.net has the facts:
The chip will run at 470MHz for both the GPU and the memory. The desktop brothers run at 500/380 MHz (Radeon X1600 Pro)and 590/690 MHz (Radeon X1600 XT). The mobile part will have 12 pipelines and 5 vertex shaders just like the normal X1600. It will be manufactured with 90nm, and will support Avivio, Shader Model 3.0, ATI PowerPlay 6.0 and Dynamic Lane Count Switching (DLCS). This way the GPU can switch from using 16 PCIe lanes to using 1 PCIe lane, which is suppose to reduce power consumption by up to 30%.
