I have downloaded it and installed. Only issue I have with it.... it wont set the fan speed. Could be due to the beta driver Im using, but the clocks and shaders will allow OC, just when I hit apply on the fan speed it resets to 0%:(

I think you will find that the minor differences in the bios's may effect the cards ability, or even display and or set false clocks.

Kind of seems like it with a different GUI and looks like possible lack of profiles. IMO I'd rather use Precision, but I wouldn't mind at least trying this...though I woudln't expect much since I have an EVGA if that program requires a Zotac card or Zotac drivers to work lol!

Nice! Yeah I've had fan speed with the 1.3.3 Precision release and 180 series of drivers, though I did do a quick mod and flash to my bios so my fan runs no less than 70% (which is barely audible, yet much more effective than 40%)...does that program have profiles too by chance?

ahh well Im on the 180 betas, I think thats what is bogarting my fan speed being able to be set!

Thats a no on profiles, just allows you to set the one and boot it at startup!

I have 1 eVGA and 1 Zotac in SLi. I wonder if I should even try, as eVGA's utility seems to work fine for my cards.

I'd say get the latest WHQL's and try there, iirc they're the 178.24's...not only should you attain better 3d/gaming performance, but possibly that program might let ya go further? I dunno...but it's worth a shot and I can't believe you're still on 169's! But hey if they work, don't mess with em right? Except when the new ones are good, and get the job done, give ya cuda and more performance! :D

:toast:

Try that if ya want, and see if that helps! I'm curious to see...I'm wondering if maybe that program will allow a little more, though it could be worse and allow less if drivers do affect it.

a 5-10 minute download and even less time to install? You've played more with OC-ing in that Zotac program than you would updating drivers! :P It's all good tho! I'm just curious to see if that affects the program for you Zotac users...dunno why it would tho haha!

no idea what affect they have but here is pretty close to max shaders will do around 2058mhz but its not worth rerunning with the ram cranked that high

This is freaky,..I boot to Vista, it works fine with both cards.
I boot to XP and the utility says, " You need a Zotac card to use this program"

I have eVga card in the first upper slot, and my Zotac is is the lower port.

Idk.
