CES 2009: Razer

Razer has been talking about a wireless mouse for quite some time now. I first heard about it around 2 years ago. The company is showing off the new Mamba mouse. This unit can be charged either per USB cable or on the cradle. You may also choose to use the unit as a wired mouse or as a wireless unit. It holds a 5600 DPI sensor and the battery will last you for 14 hours of continuous gaming or around 72 hours of casual gaming. The second introduction is the Carcharias headset. It is based on the more expensive Megadolon unit, featuring the same looks and technology within the headset. Instead of the 7.1 surround sound, the Carcharias offers stereo sound instead. The Mamba mouse can be pre-ordered for 129.99 US Dollars, while the Carcharias is available now for 79.99.

Gotta like that mouse, how ever did they forget about left handed ppl though ?.. Like is there buttons on the right side of it ?.

And last time i got one of the newer ones it went right back to were it came from as pressing those side buttons had a habit of lifting the mouse of it's pad.

And for $130 they can stick it were the sun don't shine too lol....

Im not sure how i will take to the front two little buttons where the left mouse button is, but this seems very ideal for me. I have owned a Razer mouse for about 4 years now and have never looked back. Hell i even use to call myself Viper! I use to stay away from the wireless due to poor responce time ontop of the laser turning off at intervals considered not in use. I think i WILL get one of these baby's.

I felt that the Copperhead was best suited for both left and right handed users.

i think more buttons is nice, mine has 6 that i can use for other functions other than fire and altfire (MX510) and i really dont need adjustment on the fly in games, i think that function only really works for Photo Programs/ Graphics Programs

It looks almost identical to the Deathadder ,except it has the 2 small extra buttons at the front ,otherwise its almost a wireless Deathadder ,which is not a bad thing :)

Anybody who buys a mouse for $130 seriously needs to get checked into an asylum...

Its a pretty mouse, but there is nothing that justifies spending $130 on it. Its all such a gimmicky industry...
