XFX Preparing GeForce 9400 GT Fatal1ty Edition
The GeForce 9400 GT graphics processor was originally conceived by the company to serve as an upgrade over the IGP, to provide multi-head HD video connectivity, video acceleration and a reasonable bit of GPU acceleration for CUDA-driven applications. It facilitates only some very casual gaming at low settings. XFX however, is looking to give it a gamer feel with a new Fatal1ty-branded SKU. Brand Fatal1ty represents a range of gamer-oriented hardware carrying the brand-marks of one of the most successful and popular professional gamers of our time: Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel.
The XFX GeForce 9400 GT Fatal1ty takes on the same XFX-design and adds Fatal1ty branding. Featuring 512 MB of DDR2 memory, this card uses clock speeds of 550 MHz core and 800 MHz memory. The features are pretty standard: 16 stream processors, a 128-bit wide DDR2 memory bus, DVI and D-Sub connectors for output, and a low-profile PCB design that makes it slim form-factor friendly. The product will be announced shortly, so we could know its price.

yeah I am one of the idiots buying 9600 nvidia card just because of the price. LOL. it's not like we are playing 10 different video games on our machine. So doesn't bother me it has low quality use. Besides 50fps is better than 15 on what most of the low end cards are starting out these days with the games. just a matter what people want and how they are using these graphics cards. some may want the super graphics vs these low end cards.
looks cool, but the specs are the same as the rest of the 9400gts

Fatal1ty means two things:
1) You'll pay extra in royalties to go to Wendel's retirement fund.
2) You are receiving a product that isn't worthy of the quality trademark of the manufacturer (like Platinum for MSI). That is, the same companies offer something better for about the same price.
I can see this as an easy up-sale to any family with kids buying a new comp, I can hear the geeks now..."Ohh yeah Fatal1ty is the best gamer alive, if you wanna play like him and the games he played 6 years ago at top speeds buy this card. It will run Halo at 40 fps at 1024x768 resolutions and give you a 3.9 in vista aero a great upgrade for 89.99 and are Geek Squad will install for only $29.99 but I also recommend our B.S. blah blah B.S."
I'll be at Best Buy the day it releases cause I gotta get it, I want to break the 3dmark record.
It really is a bummer this isnt Sli Capable or it would really fly in 3dmark and probably score 6500+ with C2D sux we can't try it out. Just have to bench one of them
XFX isnt that bad(I own 780i + 2 8800gt's) but this is BAD!!!
