Corsair Venturing Into Cases

Starting off as an ambitious memory products manufacturer in a highly competitive market, Corsair diversified its product lineup at a great pace: liquid cooling, SSDs, power supplies and now PC cases. That's right, Corsair is here to take on market heavyweights in the high-end PC case category, such as SilverStone, Lian Li, and Antec. This is suggested by a photoshoot of an upcoming Corsair PC case, sourced by Hexus.net, which shows a black, compatmentalized, aluminum full-ATX tower.

The pictures show the case to sport a typical design when it comes to placing the various components in the case, that till you find out that a front-door opens up the hard-drive enclosure to give the case hot-swap capabilities. Corsair's yet to be named case might get the spotlight at CeBIT.

I want to get my hands on one of these...

Not a lot of modding that I could do with it, but it's so pristine! About damn time they have hot-swap drives as a standard. I'd love to see more of that going on.

I like the grills on top. As the looks of it, it might even fit a Thermochill PA120.3 :)

They're a memory company... For gods sake guys, maybe you're spreading a little too thin?

Still, nice looking case... Hope they implement fan filters with it and offer it at less than $200...

Corsair seems to have a lot of butter because I see them spreading, but I don't see any thinning :P
Seriously, I wished all IT companies would be as dedicated as Corsair when it comes to expanding their lineup of products!

I like corsair, but.. c'mon that case just looks ugly. Stay at stuff that you're actually good at.

If they stayed at stuff they are good at then I wouldn't have the 750TX PSU that is just a badass, balls to the wall PSU for an affordable price!!

Looking at the rear fan and honey comb design it reminds me of my sonata 3, I wonder if antec is the sub contractor for corsair cases, like seasonic is for some of their PSU's???

According to the Hexus video, this case will go for $250 - $300... not a bad-looking case, but I don't think it's worth that much cash.

You could buy two P182 for the price of one of these.

That is one fu**ing awesome case, I see why its pricey though, as companies who seem new to an industry are always expensive. Or its just that Corsair is embrace its reputation of ensuring high quality products as usual. ;)

and that would achieve what, exactly? You need one case for one system - and a damn fine case at that.
