Buying a pair. 1200mhz 1.8 volts! You can't ask for more with DDR2.

That PC-9600 is looking quite impressive. If it doesn't cost an arm and a leg, I might get some for my Q9650.

But since it will, bummer.

yeah, this will cost much less than Corsair's 16gb kit ($800 way overpriced).

that 1200mhz kit has pretty good timings w/ that voltages..
& I think many ppl can still buy this without losing their kidneys

mechtechVery Nice!! About time.

They cant charge too much though, since these babies have been out for almost a year and are low voltage and high speed and relatively cheap also.

Yeah, but DDR2-1100, check for the price of the DDR2-1200... it just skyrockets..
$230.00 for DDR2-1200 5-5-5-15 at 2.1v
So indeed... OCZ doing DDR2-1200 5-5-5-18 at 1.8v is top notch....
I doubt there will be a better DDR2 stick than that... this probably will be the last great stick of DDR2 era...... Of course, if not tagged on this crazy $230.00, because it just doesn't make any sense not moving to DDR3 (including selling the old and buying new ddr3 mobo) rather than paying that much for an old tec.
Under $100.00 would be just as fair as it should.

I tried 2 sets of those. Neither would hit 1200Mhz, no matter how hard I tried.

I bought the pc2 9200's with the $10 off promo code from newegg.
The 9600's were sold out.
But I think they aren't binning too tightly yet so should get 9600 performance since the IC's are the same...we'll see...
