Microsoft Store Reveals Official Windows 7 Box Art

The retail box packages of Microsoft's anticipated Windows 7 operating system, have shown up on one of the company's webpages. From that point on it's safe to say the box art pictures illustrated are to be the final to ship to future owners of Windows 7. The retail box covers are identical with previously leaked Windows 7 box art pics. Retail boxes will ship in green, blue and black, indicating the version of Windows 7, namely Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional, and Windows 7 Ultimate. We already have official release date for Windows 7 (Oct. 22, 2009), now that we have the box art, it's time for the pricing and the final product itself.

Hmm just like Windows XP, There is XP Home, XP Pro, and XP MCE (32bit wise) for 64bit there was XP 64 but this OS will come in both 32 and 64 until 32bit is phased out.

Looks like artifacts, graphics corruption and lens flare in the logo. Not a good brand concept to include in the design EVERYTHING we dont want or try very hard to avoid and/or fix.

Yup and that is what happens when the market is not competitive, Im surprised that AMD Athlon 64 didnt cause a drastic change due to releasing and licensing the X86-64bit instruction set to intel , but i guess that is due to the blindness of the market.

Then I shall wish upon thee; graphics artifacts, sparkly TFT screens, and lens flare on all your photos. :pimp:

PS. on the bottom left "window of 4" is that a mini version of space invaders, or just a graphic represenation of a virus attack? And in the upper left windows of 4 is that a christmas tree because Win 7 will be ready for christmas? Or Hanukkah?

The more I look at that logo, the more I think it was designed by an idiot.

I think it is space invaders... sideways on... looks like a virus attack.

"4 seasons" windows eh? No sh1t sherlock. Well, there I was thinking it looked like a greasy carburetor. LOL.

This is what I see: one tree, lots of ice, one grassy wasteland, and a lonesome butterfly desparately trying to escape. My image of global warming; not a fancy high-class hotel chain. LOL:laugh:

... no shit sherlock? some might interpret this as an insult. but i'm not the type of oversensitive prick to go and hit the report post button like some of you dicks.

i'll just say this: obviously a lot of people flat out did not get it and needed to be told (i honestly think YOU had no idea and are covering it up with this satement). so you can buzz right off with your 'no shit sherlock'. k thx.

Take it easy Stud. It is an ironic way of telling someone they are communicating the obvious or the recipient is total indifferent to the comment. You maybe right, it might not have been obvious. In fact it could be interpreted in different ways. I dont knwo what the "official" line is. But, OMG, dont escalate a misunderstanding. If "NSS" offended you, then let me apologies. Please note that I did NOT quote you, as my comment was a general MEH and not intended as ridicule of any persons comment.
