The AMD A6-3400M was a mobile processor with 4 cores, launched in June 2011. It is part of the A6 lineup, using the Llano architecture with Socket FS1. A6-3400M has 1 MB of L2 cache per core and operates at 1400 MHz by default, but can boost up to 2.3 GHz, depending on the workload. AMD is making the A6-3400M on a 32 nm production node using 1,178 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on A6-3400M, which limits its overclocking potential. With a TDP of 35 W, the A6-3400M consumes only little energy. AMD's processor supports DDR3 memory with a dual-channel interface. This processor features the Radeon HD 6520G integrated graphics solution. Hardware virtualization is available on the A6-3400M, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
