The AMD Athlon XP-M 1800+ (25W) was a mobile processor with 1 core, launched in March 2003, at an MSRP of $147. It is part of the Athlon XP lineup, using the Barton architecture with Socket 563. Athlon XP-M 1800+ (25W) has 512 KB of L2 cache and operates at 1400 MHz. AMD is building the Athlon XP-M 1800+ (25W) on a 130 nm production process using 63 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Athlon XP-M 1800+ (25W), which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 25 W, the Athlon XP-M 1800+ (25W) consumes only little energy. Many games will refuse to start on this processor due to the lack of the SSE2/SSE3/SSE4 instruction set.
