The Intel Atom N2600 was a mobile processor with 2 cores, launched in December 2011. It is part of the Atom lineup, using the Cedarview architecture with BGA 559. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading the core-count is effectively doubled, to 4 threads. Atom N2600 has 512 KB of L2 cache per core and operates at 1600 MHz. Intel is building the Atom N2600 on a 32 nm production process using 176 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Atom N2600, which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 4 W, the Atom N2600 consumes extremely little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR3 memory. This processor features the GMA integrated graphics solution. The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability.
