The Intel Core 2 Solo ULV U2200 was a mobile processor with 1 core, launched in September 2007. It is part of the Core 2 Solo lineup, using the Merom architecture with BGA 956. Core 2 Solo ULV U2200 has 1 MB of L2 cache and operates at 1200 MHz. Intel is making the Core 2 Solo ULV U2200 on a 65 nm production node using 291 million transistors. The multiplier is locked on Core 2 Solo ULV U2200, which limits its overclocking potential. With a TDP of 5 W, the Core 2 Solo ULV U2200 consumes extremely little energy. Intel's processor supports DDR1 memory. The SSE4 instruction set is not supported, which can cause problems with modern games, as they require that capability. Hardware virtualization is available on the Core 2 Solo ULV U2200, which greatly improves virtual machine performance.
