The Intel Core i9-10980HK was a mobile processor with 8 cores, launched in April 2020, at an MSRP of $643. It is part of the Core i9 lineup, using the Comet Lake-H architecture with BGA 1440. Thanks to Intel Hyper-Threading the core-count is effectively doubled, to 16 threads. Core i9-10980HK has 16 MB of L3 cache and operates at 2.4 GHz by default, but can boost up to 5.3 GHz, depending on the workload. Intel is making the Core i9-10980HK on a 14 nm production node, the transistor count is unknown. You may freely adjust the unlocked multiplier on Core i9-10980HK, which simplifies overclocking greatly, as you can easily dial in any overclocking frequency.
With a TDP of 45 W, the Core i9-10980HK consumes typical power levels for a modern PC. Intel's processor supports DDR4 memory.
