The Qualcomm Snapdragon X1P-66-100 is a mobile processor with 10 cores, launched in April 2024. It is part of the Snapdragon X lineup, using the Plus architecture with Qualcomm BGA 2073. Snapdragon X1P-66-100 has 6 MB of L3 cache and operates at 3.4 GHz by default, but can boost up to 4 GHz, depending on the workload. Qualcomm is building the Snapdragon X1P-66-100 on a 4 nm production process, the transistor count is unknown. The silicon die of the chip is not fabricated at Qualcomm, but at the foundry of TSMC. The multiplier is locked on Snapdragon X1P-66-100, which limits its overclocking capabilities. With a TDP of 35 W, the Snapdragon X1P-66-100 consumes only little energy. Qualcomm's processor supports LPDDR5X memory with a dual-channel interface. The highest officially supported memory speed is 8448 MT/s. For communication with other components in the system, Snapdragon X1P-66-100 uses a PCI-Express Gen 4 connection. This processor features the Adreno X1-85 integrated graphics solution. A lot of games will not work on this processor, because they require the SSE instruction set, which is not supported. This processor is equipped with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) that comes with a performance rating of up to 45 TOPS.
