"To replace the 780"? I thought you had a Titan Z 6GB? As in your system specs.

Thats a bummer man, I hope someone here can help you.

Check all power connectors, especially the ones going to the motherboard.

Silly question, does the TV input have to be selected (i.e. HDMI, Antenna etc)? If it's a TV and not a monitor, if the selected input has been changed by mistake, does the TV input have to be checked?

If the PSU comes on and the gfx card fans start spinning, you know you are getting power. If you dont have a windows login password, you should hear the windows tune on booting (unless sound is through TV and not dedicated speakers).

Double check the physical connection from the gfx card to the TV as well. If in doubt, if you have another PCI express lane, try that.

You very well could have bumped them and one came loose. The 8/4-Pin CPU power connector being loose can cause these symptoms. The PC will power on, but not POST.

Try a different PCI-E slot and make sure your output signal cable is in fact even connected...

Did you remember to plug in the Pci Ex power cables on the card, rather than just plugging it into the MB?

Yes

Did you remember to plug in the Pci Ex power cables on the card, rather than just plugging it into the MB?
Done

It's as if like I've connected to an actual real life "IT crowd" you'll be asking me if I've turned it on and off in a minuet

No need to be cheeky.

If you want as much help as we can offer, while not physically seeing the 'fault' you could do some work.

What motherboard is it?
What BIOS revision? Should say on it somewhere.
Take a clear picture of the card installed showing the full motherboard.

Also, you haven't answered (or clarified):
Do the gfx card fans spin up?
Can you plug the speaker output into some headphones and tell us if you get the windows tune?
Does the motherboard have any LED lights?

You may have somehow broken your motherboard or power supply. Give us as much info as I've asked for if you need help.
Otherwise take it to a PC repair outfit and pay them.

It would help if you filled out your specs. Did you try it with no card?
