What wasn't patch 1.07? I'm lost as to what you are referring.

Hmmmmm....I looked last night and I didn't see one listed in the available files on GOG, which you think if anyplace would have gotten them first it would be there, being a subsidiary of CDPR.

the 2.2gb patch we got Tuesday

The 2.2 GB update was just an update for pre-order bonuses like concept art, manual, map, etc. Now we have those bonuses in 5 or 6 different languages (at first we have only English version).

That's an update of our artpack (artbook, soundtrack, map, manual, wallpapers etc.). You can check them out by going to: Properties (from Library view)->Local files->Browse local files. Files are in main game folder.

Cheers

The books tab and ingredient weight changes and the stashes are nice additions. The rest of the fixes can be summed up in one category by me: WTH???!! The absolutely insanely rare combinatiin of conditions that are fixed is bewildering. I mean what player decided to go cast a certain spell while going and standing in a dimetrium bomb cloud?

Anyway, it's nice that CDPR still show the OCD attention to detail they always have!

Yeah, few great new features, few bug fixes and shitload of glitch fixes. I think it's not OCD, rather classic padding of a todo list to be able to say "boss, look how much shit was done." ... I kid of course, who doesn't like attention to details when it comes to bugfixes

As you are with all games today, when you start adding all the DLC's and stuff they want like $80+ from a game, better to just wait it's a shame that even really good games suffer this to these days.

For example, We enjoyed FO3 all the hours we got out of that then they released the DLCS throughout time for it so we got them all at once on sale but the DLC's were pretty much pointless as we already played the rest of the game.

So now we just play the waiting game and as much as i love the witcher series and all just not worth it until they have finished releasing stuff for it.

Such a shame too.

Yeah I know the feeling I'm just hoping I don't lose my save and be able to play the expansions from that save with no issues.

Except The Witcher 3 doesn't fall into the $80 bad value category. At 120 to 150 hours, excellent replay value, and more content than has ever been put in a game, it decidedly falls into the "excellent value" category. The DLC's are free (16 of them), and the DLC's to be released in October and February are properly called Expansion Packs (like days of old) because they are expansions on the game and not "required items" to make the game what a user should have gotten, as so many games do. Finally, CDPR have shown themselves to once again be very responsive with pumping out fixes for issues, none of which were game-breaking.

Still a $80 game, not trying to argue if it's a great game or not. My point is you better playing these games when every thing is released and patched.
That's sweet that their backing the game but that should be anyways even more so for the price your paying. It's only been a short while and they got 2 free dlc's already free or not better waiting so you can get the full experience. Then there is the $25 xpack yeah better of waiting for sure.

On the more funny side at least they did not ( yet ) try to sell Temerian Armor Set " COUGH" Oblivion.

As it is now it's a $85 game.

There's been 13 free DLC' so far, not 2, none of which are something left out of the game, so it's not fixing anything that should have been there. They are totally extra and free.

I still disagree, it's not an $80 game. The expansion packs are pure extra adventure. We know how many games sell these things and you realize that without them you are not getting the full game, but the expansion DLC's are purely additional gameplay in Witcher 3. Without them, you are missing nothing.

So, $60 at full price, and don't spend the $25 for the Expamsion Pack DLC's in October and February, and you'll never feel like you were cheated. Therefore, it's unfair to throw around the $85 price tag.

Your loss on the greatest RPG ever made if you wait! :)

damn $80 shit im glad i got it on sale for $40 and decided to get season pass for $24 a week b4 release . i totally agree the game is well worth the money but i also understand wanting to wait till they release everything. i know i wished i waiting for all the content to be done for many games, some like fallout 3 and oblivion.

Yes FO3 was surly one i wish i waited for as one or more dlc's did give you stuff, sure may not be needed but still 1/2 the point is if you get a better weapon or some thing is to have some thing to kill with it that you have not done before.

I would of loved using that alien weapon but having completed the whole game and i mean pretty much every thing that could be done totally killed the point in the dlc's.

This new patch has hidden features like nerfed igni and increased level requirement for ursine gear from 22 to 25 and feline gear from 19 to 23

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt patch 1.07 carries changes for Enhanced Witcher gear sets. The Enhanced Ursine armor set now requires Geralt to be at level 25, previously the requirement for it was level 22.

Also, Enhanced Feline Witcher gear now needs level 23 character for both swords and armor, but before patch 1.07, only level 19 was required. These are just the two changes for Enhanced Witcher Gear discovered so far, reports are still incoming about changes to other Enhanced Witcher gear.

Other Hidden Changes of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Patch 1.07 are listed below:
  • Igni is Nerfed - You can't stun lock enemies anymore. The burning time is very short now. And the burning damage doesn't seem to be as great as before.
  • You don't need to press the jump button at the moment you land after jumping from higher places to avoid damage anymore. It's done automatically.
  • DualShock 4 support on PC version.

Patch 1.07 bugs as reported in Reddit. I hope I do not make a mistake by allowing Galaxy to patch my game to 1.07. Thankfully I am very busy with work so I do not have time to play. Perhaps it is for the best, knowing that Roche bug and some others has not been fixed yet.

Patch size is to be expected, if it is fixing level geometry and textures.
There seems to be some small improvements to graphics.
Otherwise, havent encountered bugs yet, but NPC's are still popping in after some time.
