Steam November Sales:
~36 Million Games Sold (no free weekend games or free to play games counted in this report)
Average Price $5.83
Average Discount ~53%
L4D2 and Skyrim were in the top ten which is not surprising to me.
Looking at the number of sales in November times the average price and going on what the industry claims that Valve takes 30% of the sale for themselves then Valve took in a gross profit of ~63 million dollars in November. Of course there's overhead and employees to run Steam so net profit would be less.
