Original is 29th but there were rumours it had been moved forward to the 24th but that has been and gone so looks like its still the 29th.

just wonder who will buy older generation with higher tdp for 300$...however cannibalizing your own product may be good but only if you don't sell ghosts like nvidia...

if will be available on stock, nonstop, could be the biggest gpu sell ever till now

who can't afford 240$ to buy it in a few weeks can buy previous generations,used, for 150-200 $ maybe less... no matter what this launch will make a lot of people happy

In certain games, yes, but as far as I've seen everything points to the 480 landing between the 390 and 390X with performance being closer to 390 in most cases. In DX12 loads it exceeds the 390X (and the 980 by extension) but most games are DX11 nowadays.

I have them installed but no driver , luckily I have the HIS DVD comes along with the card though I have no dvd rom........they should send us USB I hope in the future........

Some bad news, German review site (biggest in DE to my knowledge) hasn't managed to hit 1400Mhz with reference card (at 24C ambient temp)

My understanding is that these results were skewed by rising ambient room temperatures caused by the bencher's excessive consumption of potato pancakes and spaetzle noodles.

I believe the 16.6.2 drivers were only released a couple of days ago so unlikely they will be on the disk.
