I turn off the in game voice, since it used to annoy me in CS:GO so much it got disabled. Now its a rule for me. I cant handle toxic little wankers running around screaming in my ears. Thats not what my gaming experience is about.

we use discord for the voice chat, in game is set to PTT purely to harass/talk shit to enemies

due to the way servers are handled, we're stuck on the aussie servers if we want lag free play so a TPU group is out for us

edit: game keeps crashing between rounds when streaming, so the videos often end and a new one starts. This one features "big mac pube guy" "shitty shotty shots" and "tempting fate"

Single player is definitely worse. Group play seems to deter cheaters.

I'd be keen for TPU group play, but the issue for me is i can only play on EU servers, and my ping to them is ~200ms (being that I am in SA).

rubber banding seems fixed in the first post 1.0 patch, had some great lag free games

Same here, just spent a couple of hours playing, no crashes, no rubber banding. All I want now is for the FPS cap to be lifted.. And for better skills! I've been hunting and ambushing people more to make up for my awful aim when I'm caught off guard!

The zero adjustment is really handy, I assigned +/- to side mouse buttons. So far my furthest kill was just under 400M with the Kar98 on iron sights while dancing side to side lol. Being able to quickly adjust the zero to 400M instead of guessing the bullet drop saved my ass!

@infrared What's FPS cap in this game? I'm playing 2560x1440 @120Hz, VSYNC on. Runs really good after recent update.

144fps, so you'll be fine I'm only being limited slightly, my monitor is 165hz so no big deal I guess.

i had the fps cap, i made my pc single screen (usually clone it on tv) and removed all other monitors from the display adapter settings. then edited the fps to my refresh rate in the config file in appdata. that sorted it for me. took me back to 100 fps.

Cheers for the suggestion. Editing the config file only worked before the 1.0 release, even editing and setting it to read only doesn't have any effect. Hopefully a patch unlocks it

A while back before the release I read up on editing the cfg file, can’t remember for what purpose, but I know that the official stance on editing it is that you’ll be banned if they figure it out. Apparently it’s seen as gaining an unfair advantage over other players.

A bit lame, even cs:go allows it, I use my own customized cfg (as I, sure many others do).

Guys with X8 scopes and level 3 items seconds after the match just begun. One guy was not even aiming at me, he was shooting another person, and yet I died by a headshot. People looking at the floor, all the sudden aiming at me from several kilometers.

Last game, someone was trying to shoot me through the walls from several kilometers with a sniper rifle, i think he was toying with me, so I ran off by car from the other side, got to new house far away, and got headshot by a guy nicknamed 858351584, probably using aimbot by the look of it from the death cam.

You're just bad at it 179 hours in game so far seen only couple of obvious cheaters. People do cheat, but it's not as bad as some are saying. Try any of CoD games online then come back to PUBG, pretty sure you'll notice big difference

I tend to watch the death cam or replay the match later if something's suspect. TBH one of my kills looked 100% like I was cheating, it was a long distance headshot with a Win94 (more luck than skill, I fired out of curiosity), in the replay the gun is raised up while I'm aiming I think due to being close to the window sill, when it took the shot it jerked down, fired and instantly jerked back up. TBH I haven't come across a single cheater yet, every time I've been killed it was just that my opponent was more skilled or had the drop on me.
