Yes I spent some time clearing out my stash with my witch. Really liking this new toon I am grinding. :) Now to find frost blades and that whirlwind gem for melee.

Find? Just buy them from merchants. The few skill gems that merchants don't sell can be traded for peanuts.

tell me the exact name of the game and if i have it i will leave it guild bank. i have a lot of gems stored

Frost blades is frost blades and whirlwind is cyclone. Probably.

frost blades sure but there is whirling blades too. that is why i asked for exact name

Put both in the guild bank then :P
But seriously, Cyclone is what every other ARPG calls Whirlwind. It's also a skill I made a point in avoiding in every other ARPG (simply because it looks and usually is cheesy). In PoE however, Cyclone + LGoH = cheesy survival skill. I bit the bullet and used that combo.

@bug yes very easy survival skill. Thanks guys :) Just trying to get my toon leveled up, lowly lvl 20 maurder but should change soon, will be playing the rest of the week and weekend. Taking a break from first person shooters, new season for D3 is out and PoE needs some love. Will add a 3rd tab to GB soon as well.

I saved a lot of gear for upcoming chars and then two things happened:
1. I found out I saved the wrong gear (little did I know if it doesn't give you _a lot_ of life, it's thrash)
2. Due to the grinding involved I only developed the grand total of 4 chars
Yeah, I spent a lot of space early on with saving anything that looked slightly interesting. Up to a couple weeks ago, I also had at least one tab with anything that adds +2 to ** gem level heheh. I gotta spend some time cleaning house, especially before the Incursion ends!
Enjoying Incursion, mostly. More than Pokemon league anyway. I think the Incursions are a little harsh at lower levels. Even with 5k tooltip dps on Frost Blades, I was having a really bad time trying to accomplish either one of the two minibosses, or clearing quickly enough to get a stone drop. The last two I've run went ok, with only a couple of "Seriously!! you !@#$&(D( GD FQWE%@#$%R piece of !@#$WER" going on :). I finished off a temple this morning, with a level 1 heal room that I never managed to get into to change, which made the Rares in the temple freaking ridiculous. I left three of the bastards still running around down there because after over 5 minutes just trying to get one to drop, I had had enough.
I am enjoying all the Vaal drops, and the new modifiers. I really haven't done any of the leagues this far yet, and I'm mildly amused that I really want to rush thru some of the Act areas that bug the hell out of me...

Hey, those Item Quantity gems are nice to have :) I've got one I'm working up in standard :)

if your main skill has vaal version it is well worthy to use vaal over the normal if you get one. you level both in the same time and you can use both too. and supports in the link apply to vaal version too if they are related to it.

sorry dont have one of those. but if you need some pathetic blue mana regen amulets or useless rare armor for lvl 20 i think i can find something for you

PS pfu finally leveled master to 7 so i can invite all of them in the hideout. now i have to rearrange em again :shadedshu:

IIQ no longer drops. I think I have a couple, but could never really afford to use them.

Grrr... Aggravated. Having issues progressing thru Merc lab, but that is mainly a function of being more careful, taking a little more time. Unfortunately, getting one-shot a few times has really spun my temper.

The incursion difficulty seems to go up in batches. I noticed several times, that I would be progressing nicely thru rooms, and then suddenly the next temple I would be stymied completely. And the extremes of having to race to the nearest door the first 5 seconds to find a mob compared with, being overrun the first 5 seconds and having a 25 second timer, have got to be ameliorated. Sitting and waiting the 9 or 10 second invulnerability timer is a must on most maps, and some of those I still have to guess which way will get me a mob to kill first.

I understand not making it too easy, but to me, the fact that you only have 11 chances on a 12-room temple, and most times, you'll never even see 1/3rd of the rooms, should be enough challenge. This mess of being able to get 3 doors opened and 4 bosses killed over an entire temple run is a flipping pain in the ass.

I think things will ease up a bit if they move this to standard, make it a bit easier to get my gear where I need it, without having to buy stuff.. I hope anyway :)

Anyone have any idea of what are the new "Must Have" Vaal gems?

Vaal Reave is awesome. Mine is doing 73,621.6 damage (My character is L72 and the gem is L17 w/ quality 20) Not sure what it will get to eventually but I expect it will do a lot of damage.

Incursions are too easy for my build at the moment. I enter an incursion and completely clear it every single time no matter the tier.

High dmg output along with huge AOE plus movement speed of 72% = awesome clear speed.

Now see, I'm at 1/3 that dps on frost blades, and annoyed as hell....

when you speak with here she show you layout of the temple and on the top right corner layout of the room you are about to visit. if you hold pointer over the architects you can see what each will do (upgrade or change). pay attention to the icons (arrow up for upgrade, 2 switching arrows for change). they are marked with same symbol on the mini map when you enter the room. also use the room layout to plan in advance which direction you will go after you enter. architects doesnt change their positions so if you need to kill east one after you enter go east and you'll find him. doors are also visible on the room layout so you can plan where to go if you get key.
try agro as much mobs as you can and then enter the room with the architect. make sure you are position yourself in the way that they cant shoot you through the door. they will come closer so that you can aoe em down while you are killing architect.
also you dont need all rooms connected as some of them dont have loot but only boost mobs/boss. try to connect as much as you can the rooms with the loot. the rest still will apply their effects even if they are not connected. if you are short with the paths and you have explosive room try to upgrade it as much as you can then you can use it to make your way in the temple. each lvl of it add additional charge to use.
i had a cases where even with all mobs killed i didnt got key for doors so dont bother much about this. just enjoy the world of bullshit rng. and dont forget that if you cant open the door from within the room you can still open it from the room next to it.

edit: if you have high physical dmg take warcheaf or protector. place it next to the architect to help you

PS you dont use frost blades with oni, do you?

Oh gods no, I haven't put those things on for levels. I've gotten on to 50 or 60-something, and dropped it, and made this one up to 74 :) I'm running swords, because I can't drop a decent claw :)

added a 3rd tab there too :) thanks for low lvl stuff my templar can use. lvl30 and climbing.....

i've added 2 more claws and that's all i have atm. if i find something useful will put it in the bank.

Thanks so much for the claws! I'm trying to get the Ornament to work right now. I can't believe it's so bloody hard to get my dps up. I'm running an Ewar's with a level 59 Plague Skewer corsair sword, and they beat everything I've touched for levels.... Thanks again for the claws!! I put what won't work back in the tabs :)

may be it will be better if you scale physical and then convert it to cold. you already have 60% conversion from frostblades you can use hrimsorrow to convert 40% left.
my build is with scourge and helion pawn (both are at around 1ch on market) and they drop with ~250 dps each
try different builds with https://github.com/Openarl/PathOfBuilding
you can add items too and see how they affect dps

i will leave hirmsorrow in the bank if i havnt sold em already if you decide to try it

Boy do I wish this game had a combat log. I'm so used to using the log in MMO games and POE could really use one. I want it more for figuring out my defense weaknesses more than anything.
