The best part about the 2070super is that it gives us a core vs core comparison once 5700xt is out. Same shader count and same memory subsystem. And even clock speed probably going to be similar

Price is for the cheapest card I can find on Newegg (have done it like that since forever).@W1zzard - quick question.. the price you listed for the 2070 is for the reference model. Does the data correspond to the reference model or to the FE?

Although do note that for the 2070 Super, the core speed settles at 1845.The best part about the 2070super is that it gives us a core vs core comparison once 5700xt is out. Same shader count and same memory subsystem. And even clock speed probably going to be similar
Even on AMD's own numbers, RX5700XT is very close or even surpass the Radeon VII in many games shwon. This card is excellent because it puts pressure on the VII on the perf / cost ratio, true that VII is also addressed to prosumers, but the alternative could be to cut the price of VII by $ 100 if it is possible considering the cost of hbm2 and put on the market gamer a MI60 with only 16GB hbm2 if this is possible, because I don't think the chip that replaces Vega20 is ready, Arcturus with RDNA2 + RT

Actually, it gives us the second data point of a like-for-like comparison - RX5700 vs RTX2070 and RX5700XT vs RTX2070SThe best part about the 2070super is that it gives us a core vs core comparison once 5700xt is out. It's hard to do that when Radeon VII never really phased in. It was always a low volume card (remember some countries getting just 5 units at launch?).Even on AMD's own numbers, RX5700XT is very close or even surpass the Radeon VII in many games shwon.
If anything AMD can just phase out the Radeon VII. There is no point wasting 16GB of HBM2 memory on a gaming card.

ok.. got it. Indeed not optimal.Price is for the cheapest card I can find on Newegg (have done it like that since forever).
Performance data is for FE indeed, but the difference is small. I know it's not optimal, but there is just no other way. There is no "reference" on the market, they all have at least higher power limit or a different cooler, which increases boosts too.

Which is completely inaccurate, because people care about pricing today?who list a static (typically MSRP) price

Your price is already not accurate and the review isnt 24 hours old ($479 unit as of 3 mins ago). At least with a static msrp value listed and noted, users are aware. You can also add newegg/Amazon links in parenthesis with the current lowest price (that Skimbit yo! ). It could also show a price trend which is valuable throughout the review cycle and defines bookends of a trend.Which is completely inaccurate, because people care about pricing today?

Yeah, I was going to say that. Some cards hold their value better than others (and then there's Asus), your approach seems to be the most helpful. Sure, FE is a little TDP constraint, but that only means IRL you'll be betting a bit more bang for your buck.Which is completely inaccurate, because people care about pricing today?

The RX 5700 XT will definitely not be able to match RTX 2070 Super performance, and we're having doubts about whether thermals or noise will end up being comparable, which could make the $50 price increase to the Super very justifiable for potential customers, or force AMD to reduce their pricing.
No, it would cost much much less, it will cost 1500$ and that would be a good price because it will give the performance of 5080 Ti with a bunch new still-useless only-adopted-by-3-to-5-games featuresI'm gonna predict 7060 (midrange) gonna to be like $2000 then .......
