Can't complete a single tutorial. They all crash at auto save 7 for me. Rolled back driver and still crashes in the same places. Needs patches. Haven't had bugs this bad since Skyrim. Looks like it's back to Satisfactory for me

Verified the game's files twice. Got a 29MB download the first time and a 7.8GB one the second time.

Will report back if this changes anything.

Once all of the issues are ironed out, I'll probably start a new save.

3700X and 6800 running maxed out 3440x1440 ~34fps.

Raytracing will probably force a lower resolution (or settings), but so far 34fps on freesync is very playable. No crashes, all patches, 20.12.1 driver.

34fps ultra 1440p with no ray trace on a 6800?

That's abysmal.

So far, (fingers crossed) no crashes. Playing 1440p at Medium with DOF turned on, and Film Grain off gives between 60-80 fps with a 10850k/5700 XT.

GoG version, Radeon 20.12.1

Not ultra, maxed. You set reflections to Psycho. That drops performance by ~12fps, so almost 25% compared to ultra. More than that depending on the scene.

Ok. So reflections at psycho equates to what? Is it like non rt but close to rt? And is it worth the performance drop?

Even then, add in 12fps and performance is still abysmal.

Not sure, would have to take screenshots and compare. I don't notice anything really offhand. Probably not worth the performance hit.

As a quick comparison outside your players house (not a super stressful scene) 3440x1440 21:9:

Maxed: 41fps
Ultra: 52fps
High: 59fps
Medium: 76fps
Low: 94fps

When I loaded the game up the first time all of my graphics settings were set to Ultra and 4k by default. I started the game anyway and was rewarded with 12 fps lol.
Then I set the game to 1440p and kept everything at Ultra and was getting 25-32 fps but it seemed worse. So then I set all Ultra settings to high and was rewarded with 30 to 45 fps. Now I am running a mix of high with some mediums (mostly all the shadow settings at medium) and I'm pretty steady at 40+ fps with some dips into the mid 30's. Even now though it just doesn't feel fluid enough so I will lower settings further.

Not a single crash so far though (knock on wood) after a few hours of playing.

My main beef is not so much performance-related (though performance is a bummer) but what really ticks me off is how we cannot change all the keybindings. Some can be rebound and some can't. I was able to go into the ini file to change most everything but there is no line in that file to change the "use" button. I hate being forced to use "F" when I prefer to use "Enter". I find it odd that a game dev would lock out some key bindings. I really hope this gets patched soon as it ruins the experience for me.

Otherwise, the game looks to be a lot of fun but some patches are dearly needed and I need to replace my 1080 Ti too!!

smooth as a babies but 1080p and gettin not glitches or crashes and averaging around 80fps 5h22m later I need to have a break getting sore fingers cause of stupid wasd control which I can't seem to bind to my arrow keys as the game wont let me :( the only setting turned off is motion blur and film grain because I intensely dislike both

Welp, got a BSOD during a braindance quest. "driver IRQL less or not equal" for those wondering.

Gonna do a clean driver install and see what happens.

With a 1080ti I locked the framerate at 40fps vsync off, all high settings, 1440p.Fullscreen,not borderless window. It's highly responsive, with consistent frame pacing and no intrusive, detrimental screen tearing. Looks pretty enough and I'll be getting stuck in Today

Did you try lowering clocks or even going back to stock settings?
Wouldn't be the first time when seemingly stable oc is suddenly too much for a particular game.

Not sure if it's already been posted(TLDR), but Kyle over at BitWit just did a Let's Play!

If you're playing at 1080p, don't be. Got for it.

After work I'll update drivers, update game if there is and I'll be recording what I can of it. Will report back my findings.

After that 7.8GB download and a clean reinstall of my GPU drivers, the game still runs like shit and crashes.

Did you try lowering clocks or even going back to stock settings?

Did try running without the OC, guess I'll test it more.

I've gained another 3+ fps turning fog, cloud and shadow viewing distance down as they aren't that important and makes no difference visually..At least so far I can see.
Stopped playing after 30 mins at midnight and got up around half 6 to go through at least part of the prologue.
Game did spike up around 60+ in certain areas.
