I would imagine that the Ryzen fix should be a tiny patch, so I don't see why CDProjekt can't just push it out right now.
one big patch is better than a thousand small ones

Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
not bad and full of life but as some mentioned no real interactions outside quest still look quite beautiful even on my "limited" hardware i use medium settings and 1440p no real stutters nor noticeable slowdown .... surprisingly, a lot of minor bug but nothing game breaking (sometime even fun )

glad to have bought it on PC (GoG with a "discount" for my birthday ) less glad of the 107gb DL (which is why i turned to a friend who made me a repack with only the English files 70gb shaved off and passe me a USB stick  )

i had the infamous tree clipping bug until i updated my GPU drivers ... damn a game that (GE)force me to get the latest nV driver ... good job CP2077 good job ... (that's a sarcasm ... i have some occasional CTD/TDR on other games with these driver )

yeah npcs are dumb and when you talk to them they answer but nothing moves ... are they all ventriloquist?

in short (or semi long) CP2077 is enjoyable (yes even day one and the week after) good graphic and immersion, low interaction, gameplay and character build wise quite good but well ... it's still not the "revolution of gaming" CDPR wanted it to be ... to me it's just another beautiful openworld sci fi RPG and i would call it Deus Ex RTX (sans RTX for me ... my card does not support it, although i do not really need it ... ) based on how i feel playing the game.

oh, wait ... she's supposed to look like that? ohhhhhhh okaaaaayyyy....
ah yes one issue... sometime the quest show a totally different spot than where it is supposed to be, did someone had that? (usually corrected by a restart if you do )

I don't know what gun cops use but damn 2 shots and ya dead is pretty overkill considering you can shoot them 20x and they're still alive
The cops are intentionally much higher level than you are (and therefore their guns are higher DPS) to be a punishment.

It's a bit stupid how they magically spawn in and kill you tho, at least with GTA you had a chance to escape - in this its more like "hah fuck you, you ran over a civilian cause our driving is wonky so you're dead now"

i could agree one that ... well you can't realistically play a "F' it all" streetkid anarchist if the coop are like the city guard in a mmo faction capital or starting area

Agreed on the technical part (they need a massive overhaul to their AI and spawning). That being said escaping the cops in this game is literally just walk behind cover and hide for 10 seconds because they have zero AI and don't follow you. So apart from the fact that they do a lot of damage the cops are practically harmless.

Rain is just a post processing filter effect?

There's just so many things off in the game

sample of spawning cops behind you

increase your FPS through gunshot

Yep lots if trickery applied. Welcome to videogames, its not reality :D I mean youre not wrong but isnt this par for the course especially in open world games of this size? I remember loads of similar stuff and most of it hasn't even been fixed to this day, nor will it ever. We long accepted that because of the sheer size of these games.

Heres what you DONT get either, which is in fact pretty cool for this game, and maybe also provides insight on 'why' you get the bugs you do. And why perhaps some should be taken for granted:

- FPS locks or an engine/game that falls apart when running over 60 FPS

- Slow as molasses movement and actions. Cyberpunk does everything fast, and sacrifices accuracy in return. A bit odd at first, but when you have your first dozen hours clocked, you wish everything ran like this. I love it. I really don't need to be looking at my arms waving about slowly in front of me and I don't need slow camera panning nonsense everywhere either. Most newer games are littered with that, Cyberpunk tosses it all away in favor of speed and more playtime. If the game slows you down, its because its actual gameplay or mechanics. Example: Forcing open doors.

- That also goes for loading new areas and the priority the engine assigns to it. You can see assets getting quality passes and loaded in as you play sometimes, but the framerate doesn't suffer. Same with lighting. It can be a tad glitchy, but everything is done on the fly and we have all noticed that the engine/game doesn't stutter and keeps average FPS in a very tight range. This is a design choice and one I really like. Compared to GTA or Skyrim: no stutters when loading new 'tiles'. And when there is too much to stream, you get a loading screen instead (a sign you can use faster storage).

I think its good to realize some of the choices CDPR has made with this game regarding the pipeline/performance/visuals. Personally believe they struck a fantastic balance in favor of playability. I'll take some glitches and lacking accuracy for granted to have that. Doesn't excuse all the other stuff though, I too did find people with no gun in hand while they shot me, bodies that got placed in the trunk of a car but floated behind it, random aggression or getting Wanted for nothing, enemies doing completely nothing at all while their buddies get shot around them, etc etc. Its all there :D

The one thing I have little excuse for is the AI. Man. Its so fucking dumb.

From what I recall, GTA had a decent balance, usually you wouldn't notice the lack of object persistence unless you were looking for it, at least they kept the immediate surroundings in check. But if looking away for a fraction of a second makes people around you disappear, that completely breaks immersion. Tricks are good but only as long as they're unnoticed most of the time.

They could get away with this on consoles with a single fps target in mind, but nowadays when every game needs to be considered for multiple platforms (even exclusives can be ported later) it's just a flawed design.

Maybe I should look for it more, but most crowds seem to be pretty persistent to me? As well as the stuff you do interact with. I can find my bike in the very same place post-mission for example. Similarly, its not like events respawn under your nose, something that also happens a lot in this type of game. Dying Light is notorious for it...

But yeah overall definitely room for improvement, I do agree.

My take on the game so far: you can't really interact with anyone outside the missions/quests, it's like the whole city is detached from you, the AI...well there is no AI, the NPC is just dumb and same goes for the police - which IMO should be removed for now and implemented better.
I'm comparing these segments with RDR2 which IMO is miles and miles ahead - I mean just staring at people in RDR will produce funny moments.

The city however looks great and I like the atmosphere and apart from all the bugs, glitches, CTDs which will be fixed in near future I'm so far enjoying the game.
It's a good game with potential to be a great game but for now it lacks the interactivity, so for me RDR2 is still the best OW game out there.

Yeah, it's a great city sightseeing tour but not much else.

Well I am off the week of and since it falls on Friday I will be using that day in the following week so I don't have to go back to work until January. I am still looking for a clue in the brainweave mission but this Game is going to be dissected like an onion. I want to explore the city and see what nuggets they have plus I want to see what the skill trees are all about. We all have the same mission stories but you don't have to do them right away.

I chose Corpo and you're forced to do Panam missions as part of the Rogue main quest
So every time you replay the Game it could be a slightly different experience?

It's nice to see a sincere apology from CDRP. That's more than you would get from most developers in all honesty. Doesn't change the fact that a bunch of kids are gonna be getting a damn near unplayable game for christmas or the fact that they actively hid how terrible the game performed on console. I'm confident they will do a good job continuing to improve the game but they are going to have a hard time getting the egg off their face. Sony is giving out refunds, investors are pulling the plug, and the game is getting review bombed. It's all unfortunate really because the game itself is great and most of the issues seem to just be due to piss-poor management at CDPR.

It's an R rated game, they shouldn't be playing it anyway. Bad performance will be their punishment

I have a feeling your joking, but just in case you're not...welcome to the real world. You kinda seem like a huge CDPR fan boy that is foaming at the mouth to defend them for everything. Oh well, I'd expect nothing less from someone who was buying cyberpunk merch in bulk before the game even released
