lag spike with images loading issue

wall o text is from inspecting one of the not loading images in case it helped determine what image host or whatever was lagging

this post is lagging inserting the images too, kept not showing anything had been uploaded

lag for me too from austria since 2 days.
like i wrote something in a thread -and get out -see i have a comment -get back in and i did not see any of my+others comments -just some random mix of older posts with no context.
its a first for me on tpu.
thx for your work

i have seen 0 lag
im not even sure what you mean by it
im in Australia

I had an issue yesterday where I uploaded an image which showed in the preview and edit panel, but not in the post, not sure if it was due to lag or a glitch.

Edit, turns out it was copy protection on that pic, nothing to see here.

Tpucdn.com having trouble loading pics for the Intel Core i9 11900K CPU, at least performance summary.

Too much traffic right now, maybe?

EDIT: nevermind, seems fixed.

why do some images replace the window youre currently on, & others open in a mini window, where you can navigate to the next image in the post easily?
i know its not back breaking or anything, but if this is for quality of life feedback, id like it if all images did this when clicked

good kind.PNG

instead of this garbo, that requires the viewer to click the navigate back button, or close the window entirely.

i call the second one the 'commitment image' , since its a commitment to view it.
im sure there is a reason, that has to do with how the image is inserted by the posting party, or maybe even something i have set, but its something i could do without.

well first time for everything I spose and this is definitely a first for me clickin on the tpu bookmark and I get this error msg

Fatal Error: SQLSTATE[08S01]: Communication link failure: 1047 WSREP has not yet prepared node for application use in Visitor.php:38

woops but alas it was not repeatable as a refresh of the page fixed it

One of our database nodes crashed and the cluster needed a moment to recover

This looks like I failed at coding though :) "Invalid parameter number: number of bound variables does not match number of tokens"

Haven't seen a separate thread, however if you look at the BST forum you'll see where @Durvelle27 was hacked and who ever it was started a for sale thread.

I don't know how many members have been hacked but I also have sent a message to my pal @PaulieG and haven't heard back from him. Hopefully he wasn't hacked as well.

Yes = this IS serious.

It would be nice to have a list of hacked users to know if you have to reset passwords/user id's on other sites.

I will have to reset passwords on approximately = 260 different sites !!!!

I'm sure you would be contacted if you had been and anyone worth their salt would never post a user list of compromised accounts for all to see.

I think everyone has it.

Correct.

I don't think there will be a list of that kind.

And so far I don't think many were affected. Luckily once I caught wind of it as I was compromised I immediately started reaching out to the other Mods/Staff to make them aware. Especially since a FS thread was posted under my name but wasn't me.

Glad to see you.................Actually you, back on now bro!!!!!!! :toast:

I don't see any iffy activity on my account. Still, it would be helpful to know what kind of hacking was going on. Was it the site itself? Social hacking(IE the users themselves were targeted)? Maybe both?

I'm curious if the accounts that were hacked had 2FA enabled? If not, is it time we start making it mandatory?

I'm being hacked as i write this...how would i know if i was or wasn't?

Yeah how do i know if im being hacked

Yeah how do i know if im being hacked
Have you reused the same password here on another site that was compromised? The only hacking going on is logging into a account here.
